Stumbled across the 4 Packs of these Smart globes on Clearance at $9.00 - The single variant in Officeworks is $14.95.

    They can probably also be flashed with esphome using tuya-cloudcutter and then controlled completely locally either via homebridge/home assistant

      I just flashed, it has bk7231t chips inside instead of esp chips. Not possible for tasmota but ok for openbeken.

        I've found esphome to be much better then obk. Only thing it is missing for me currently is the mqtt integration.

  Bought these at Officeworks last week for $5 (last pack unfortunately). Lights are great with some great colours but the so called Brilliant app is crap!
