  Until this camera supports Homebase, the value proposition isn't really there with recordings saved locally on the camera.

  Charging with a standalone solar panel the non-solar cameras is the way to go tbh

  I have two of these at my mothers and prefer them to the Ring cloud system I have at home. The solar charging works great and is inbuilt so they are super easy to install and you could mount them on trees for example. They have local storage so you avoid cloud subscription costs and they havr nice features including setting activation zones.
