If you buy 10 it will cost $31 with shipping. this works out to be $3.10 each. thats 4L for $31.

I paid $17 for 1.5L at Costco (2 pump bottles) so your basically getting a free L if you buy 10….. like you said, need to check the exp date first.

    • Can something with so many chemicals in it actually expire?

      • why not? the chemicals will become less effective

You might also want to check the place of manufacture.

The $2 shop in Hornsby (NSW) Westfield sells H&S for $2-$3 but its made in a different country to that sold in Coles/Woolies…. Not sure if the formula is the same or not…

    • Good call - tipping this is a parallel import.

    • yep i remember using the euro H&S years ago… it was crap and didnt work so make sure its the regular local stuff.

  • Seems to be a parallel import :(

  • I just got a shipment with the cool menthol one (out of stock) and there is no expiration date on it.
Just some number code on the back of the bottle.

  • Do they have different formulations for different countries? I can't imagine why, since presumably they want it to work, and for people to buy it, in all markets.

    • People often cite water quality as a reason for varying formulations between countries, and that european versions of products won't work well here. The parallel import version is targeted at the UK market, which has a wide variety of water quality from very soft to very hard. Australia also has water from very soft (Hobart) to very hard (Adelaide). Unless different H&S products are sold on a state by state basis in Australia, it's safe to say the product is made to be universal.

I came here looking for dandruff puns but founds none. I am disappoint. To kick things off:

The price is so low I'm scratching my head trying to work out how they profit. In fact the deal is so good I'm itching to nab a few bottles for the family. Though if these really are parallel imports then it's pretty flaky of them not to say so.

  • I use H&S shampoo. Tried the "local" official import at around $10 per 400ml (made in Thailand) and the parallel import for $6 at Reject Shop for 500ml (made in France). Both work as well as each other and I'd never buy the 'local' version again.

    • I recently bought the Chinese version at Reject Shop for $2.00 each!

  • Dont waste your time on this website - all Bait advertising and they do not have stock and will not refund your shipping costs if they deliver even 1 item from you list. I have spent hours trying to get any form of money back and i waited 3 weeks for my items and they only posted me 3 out of 51 items that i brought…this website breaches a lot of the Consumer Act provisions.
