I don't know anything about straightening irons but that discount looks great! Not sure why it's discounted so much and I can't find who they may be price matching.

Got one. Hopefully don't end up in the doghouse as it's not the brand my SO wanted.

There is a little bit of cashback with TopCashback having the most at 3% if you want to take a chance that it won't sell out in the mean time. I have no idea how many Amazon have.

      I just looked Cloud Nine up. I might have lucked out. It's made in South Korea. Honestly not sure which brand she wanted but I know it was one from South Korea.

      Cloud Nine is one of the best quality hair straighteners on the market IMO. I've owned two and I swear by it. Cloud Nine was created by one of the founders of GHD and it's a far superior product.

        Sounds great. Really hoping I somehow got super lucky and got the one she wanted. She said it was a South Korean one but thought that it was too expensive to think about buying.

    If anyone has buyers remorse, I'll take it off your hands. I keep refreshing for a miracle.. but no such luck!
    Next time, I'll just buy without going into the cashback app to try and earn more off. Lesson learnt.

      I've done that a few times and even cancelled one order to change something and ended up losing the deal. If I think the item will sell out quickly I don't try to do cashback unless it's really signficant.

          Somewhere along the line she changed her mind from wanting a straightener to a volumizer. So not a great start, but she seems to be using it regularly now so it ended up OK.

          Hope it arrives early and serves you well for a long time to come. : D

    This was a great price and is a great straightener. Would have bought it for my wife. She has the Dyson now but still runs out of battery when corded so this would have been great

    Your SO probably wanted a GHD, but Cloud Nines are way better for the reasons mentioned above and also because you can adjust the temperature. :)

    My wife's experience with Cloud Nine was bad. Straightener broke at 2 years. She then got a cheaper Philips and it is still going strong 5 years later.
