Is this a retail pack and Australian Stock ?

  • Any class 4 micro sd deals?
Also, can you resurrect the 32GB USB deal?

    • Why would you want class 4 when you can get class 10 at these prices?

      • not sure how newer cards compare, but class 4 cards used to excel in certain stats (random 4k writes?). so while class 10 cards might be faster for certain types of reads/writes (ie. sustained/continuous writes), class 4 cards might still be faster for others.

basically, cards are/were good at one thing and bad at the other. depending on the application, certain speeds might be more important.

      • because you generally commit < 2X as much for a card which is merely 'faster' to write (as above); but not a ROI in my book (but maybe Sandkisk). tablet+phone user.

  • 32GB cruzer fit deal, for those that missed out?

edit: oops, yeah, same as above.

  • Anybody know if these are compatible with Raspberry Pi? I'm think 8GB would be enough to run XMBC?

  • Do you have any bargain on CF card?…

  • Yeah you go danilo chan , we haven't seen Francesca around on OzB with such prices being offered. +1 for value.

Here is my speed report card for 32gb card sourced @15.90 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/76924 from your supply 11/8

          Sequential Read : 19.898 MB/s
          Sequential Write : 5.097 MB/s
          Random Read 512KB : 19.612 MB/s
          Random Write 512KB : 8.205 MB/s
          Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 3.536 MB/s [ 863.3 IOPS]
          Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 1.356 MB/s [ 331.1 IOPS]

    Test : 1000 MB [F: 0.0% (0.0/29.7 GB)] (x5)

Not quite the "6 MB/s" I was hoping, but not terrible either and still inline with C 4.

      • Ah, they appear to watch each other, and indeed you are right.

        • all the better for us. I was going to order a card on the weekend but decided to hold out for a bit. Ended up getting 4 cards today. hurrah!
