I got suede ones on Dark Cola for $299, I like this colour more but I'm not dropping $450 on them. Suede boots, sneakers, shoes are great.

I've been waiting for these to go on sale for ages. Now that they are I don't know if I should pull the trigger on them!
Maybe look into a suede chukka like the Crockett and Jones Chiltern or Tetbury, or Church’s Ryder. It’ll be rarer they go on sale (especially the CJs), but they do and can be had for around 450 if you’re patient. Both are a bit more versatile than the RMs. Both brands fit TTS so if you’re a 10 in RMs you’ll be a 10UK in those.
If you have the money then go for it. They'd look great with a nice pair of jeans and knitwear this winter
I bought these only 2 weeks ago after waiting for a long time too. Best decision. They're great.
How does the suede go stretching? Easier than the leather? I have orthotics and I need the boots to stretch in the top arch if I don’t get the dynamic flex which has an insole i can take out.
Can’t say as I’ve only won’t the one day so far. But the fit is similar to my kangaroo comfort craftsman. Leather feels soft enough on the inside and should flex well.
Really happy with them.
If you're looking for a D level job in logistics then my anecdotal evidence suggests they work.
