This is an awesome deal considering most CBD places charge $15+ per hour AND YOU GET 2 FREE BEERS !!!

I actually got onto this deal last time (early July I think) and it was great fun. We went after the footy at Etihad Stadium and just walked there - It's very close to Southern Cross station. I rang to book and they said just bring in the voucher…. but you best ring to make sure.

The beers are actually stubbies of Carlton Draught, Pure Blonde etc. (pretty good range) and not poured contrary to the pictures and you can have spirits, mixed or soft drink if you like.

The tables are all International type tables (and all blue clothed - contrary to the pictures) with bigger pockets etc. than your traditional English style pub tables so take a bit of getting used to.
The house cues are in unusually good condition (like new) and well weighted but have a bigger tip than traditional table cues. I guess that is because the balls are bigger as well. Oh and the white cue ball is actually the same size as the other balls (not smaller), which I reckon is much easier for cushion shots.

We tried playing international rules which was pretty weird as no 2-shots and (unfortunately for me) no flukes. Basically you only get 1 shot from anywhere on the table (except on break) for a foul and have to nominate the ball and pocket. It's pretty different and I'm wrapped this deal has come up again so I can give it another go. :)

According to a guy who works at a competing pool parlour, Pulo has the best international style tables in Australia… so if your going to give international rules a try - might as well start on the best tables around. Just make sure you use it before 20 November 2012!
