    Cheaper on instant gaming

      • +1

Purchased and asking me to send through my licence!! WTF is this crap?

        • Oh no, not one of those!!
Ridiculous! Just demand your money back!

I went through all that crap with HRK Gaming, took ages to get a perfect selfie of me with my licence in the one photo in focus and then when I did it they rejected it anyway and said it wasn't clear enough (which was total BS) and asked me to send them another one.

I was fuming, but spoke to a nice guy on chat support and just told him what a joke their system was and that I never had to deal with that sh*t before in my life and he was very understanding (probably hears it everyday) and just refunded me straight away.

It's like those clowns don't even want to sell games to people, I'm not sure how they haven't gone broke because plenty of places (like Eneba) are cheaper anyway?

          • @wonderboy4: I'm gonna go back to CDKeys to get this I think. Need to find a 5% off code to make it just under $100. Lol.

Least won't need to give my ID card. It's ridiculous.

            • @bchliu: Can confirm I brought key yesterday from instant gaming and it was working pre-order key.
At least they wont ask for ID again once you get pass that
              For first times? nah

              • @Rage Roze: Yeah. Understand that everyone has different levels of risk tolerance and stuff.. but coming from a Govt ITsec background:
                1) You are supplying them access to your credit card
                2) You are supplying them some of your personal details
                3) You are supplying them a Driver's Licence - which err, is linked up to a state/federal level of Facial recognition data.
                4) You are supplying them the essential parts of a licence which is used for further identity access

Do you know how many warning flags this raises? Each of the above risks when compounded gets exponentially riskier. Even if the company is legit - who knows what they will do with this data (sell?) or even if they don't do anything, who's to say they won't get hacked ala Optus?

Not for me.. I'd rather pay the extra 10 bucks or whatever to get it through another agent instead of taking this risk for a cheap bargain.

@bchliu: @bchliu Sorry to hear you had so much trouble on this! I just checked Eneba and they still have cheap codes and the 8% off code is still working: https://imgur.com/EKHwZPz

Such a shame it would not work for you and that you had that ID nonsense with Instant gaming.

You probably already bought from CD keys by now and enjoying the game but just so you know Eneba does have PayPal and never ask for ID and are a reliable source for keys. It will still turn out cheaper than CD Keys via Eneba even without the 8% off code.

But I understand why you might just want to get it from somewhere you are familiar with at this point.

All the best, hope you have fun doing massive combos and crushing your opponents! 🥋👊🏆

Cool, you should post the link here for people to see, or if it is a big price difference maybe post it as a deal?

Anyone playing on Steam Deck use GE-Proton8-3 and it will run as smooth as butter at 60fps. World tour will still need to be played at 30fps but this seems to be an issue with most Pc's

  • +1

The hell? Wasn't the PS5 version like the same price physically? Why so expensive?

    • +3

IKR games are dear now, ebgames selling this for 110, even big w is 100. Cos i play on Game Pass i havent really bought a new release in forever and i had no idea they had gotten so expensive. I'm waiting on some kind of deal on xbox version cos im not paying 90 or 100 for one game, that's ridiculous.

    • Muliplatform games have been more expensive at launch on PC for some time now and that doesn't even consider stores trying to undercut each other on physical console games.

Does Eneba have codes that only work in specific countries, been chasing a deal for Xbox live that I found on Slickdeals but the code keeps coming up as invalid, it seems to work with US VPN server though.

    • +1

Yes, some are global and some are for specific regions or countries, but the good thing is that it will always clearly say it on the webpage of the game in question and will also say "can be activated in Australia"

  • Says "Invalid Code".. looks like it could be expired now from Eneba.

    • I just went to checkout again and applied the code and it worked okay, not sure why it would say that? Because that code is always available as a standard thing on Eneba.

here is a screen shot I just took of the checkout with code applied

      https://imgur.com/JADeZ9X

But if it doesn't work just use the link that someone posted above for Yuplay, it's $3 cheaper and I just clicked it and it's still available.

      • That's bizarre.. Here's what it looks like for me:

        https://imgur.com/a/YVdzsGg

I might try Yuplay - but worst case I'll stick to my tried and tested CDKeys maybe.

        • I agree, that is Bizare! I think it might be a glitch with the browser, if you restart your browser maybe it will work?

But yeah, Yuplay is working I think and $3 less anyway. YuPlay also seems like a safe website to me after checking it out on Google apparently around for 15 years. I will bookmark them for future reference.

      • I think the only bad thing about Yuplay is that they don't accept Paypal.. not really sure giving my cc to them. LOL.

        • If they are a reputable site like Eneba, it should be fine.
