OP, meals and checked-bag are not included right?

and they might weight your bags right at the boarding gate with their dodgy scale and you might have to pay extra for the weight you gained inside the airport :).

      • Can we report it? Did this happen to you? I'm going with em this Jul and probably have to prepare for this.

        • I guess we can report them here in Australia if they do that but in Vietnam, good luck. They have been doing that for years and nobody can do anything about it.

      • Dude, I travel 4 times with Vietjet this year Syd-HCM route (2 return trips) and none of the time I was ask to weigh the bags at the boarding gate.

        • I guess it's the new route so they haven't done it just yet. They did that for all other domestic & international routes in Vietnam.

    • be aware that they might remove all services, maybe no meal, no checked-bag, also be careful with your carry-on bag, they might weight it before boarding and you have to pay extra for it

      • With my experience, unless your carry-on looks to big/bulky then they don't even ask me to put it on the scale

        • I dont know how but yes it is not happen to everyone
