        At the end of the day most business travelers use Flexible Qantas tickets or a mix of Red-E-Deals and Flexible tickets.

          depends on the business, the previous one I worked for always book the cheapest e-deals :(
          or even Tiger Air back in the old days….

  • BNE-SYD red e-deals are still $149…

  • Is there any benifit to a qantas frequent flyer to join this ? Will that change anything if you alreahave qantas frequent flyer points ?

    • The business gets FF points as well; not a huge amount, but some. There are also general discounts available when booking through here, although again, quite restricted, and I think the general discount for the first tier is only 2%

      • I see, so if I sign up for this will my QFF number will be the same, will it effect how I earn points in future. Would you have changed your normal QFF to this ? And will it make any difference to earning points from your normal (not business) credit card ?

        Thanks in Advance :)

          You add yourself as an employee of the business, and once linked book through the business, but for yourself, then both you and the business get the points. You retain your membership, and the business has one too

            @RMBC: If you are also lucky enough to have a friend in the Finance department, you could also get a Business/Corporate Card.

            American Express® Qantas Business Rewards Card - 2PTS per QF $
            American Express® Qantas Corporate Platinum Card - 2MR (1PT) per QF $

            Both of these cards are a great choice and designed for 95% of businesses. Charge Cards sure but throw all your travel and pay it off immediately.

            So for Melbourne - Perth in Business would net you;
            Qantas Airfare Reward Rates - 3,330 Points (could be more depending on status) + 80 Status Credits
            Qantas Business Rewards Rares - 500-1000 Points (Depending on your tier)
            American Express Reward Rates - 5000 Points on the QBR card or 2500 on the QCC
