Whenever you start a session at a site, there are tracking identifiers going on in the background. Everything in your cart is probably carrying the original identifiers from the browsing session when they were added to cart. You can't just swap to shopback identifiers at checkout because shopback identifiers were never created to begin with (generally.. YMMV with some sellers)

@justtoreply: It really depends on the store. I've definitely had tracking work before on items already in the cart. It's fine it doesn't work that way, but it needs to be explicitely stated in the terms.
