With the recent changes to Beem BPAY, I've jumped onto the Zip wagon.
New to Zip? Earn 3,000 bonus Qantas Points when you sign up to Zip via the link and activate your Zip account, link your Qantas Frequent Flyer in the Zip app and complete your first purchase within 90 days of activation.
$10 for referrer & referee, if referee applies for account within 10 days of invitation and completes a transaction within 14 days of account approval.
When are they implementing the changes to Beem?
It's already happened, from memory it was last week. You can still use Beem to BPAY but it can't be linked to a credit card anymore.
Oh right. So even if you have a linked credit card already it won't work?
There is a monthly fee but it's waived if you pay off your Zip account in full each month.
There are no fees for bpay.

Does the use of Zip count as a credit file enquiry?? Weighing up whether the impact on credit rating is worth it, but then I think, I cycle credit cards regularly, and never get knocked back lol
Seconding this question, is a Zip application going to affect my chances of getting my next credit card? I've been cycling credit cards pretty aggressively this year.
I think the no fees is implemented at the end of July for all accounts?

Are you using ZIP to bpay bills with credit cards/prepaid cards? What kind of fees are you copping? Spewing Beem sacked our free Bpay option..
