      I have not seen anyone recently report their attempts at trying to use Gourmet Traveller gift cards outside of the list of participating restaurants.

      The gift card terms and conditions are also quite clear that the gift cards are only intended to work at certain participating restaurants, so I highly doubt you can use it like the Restaurant Choice gift card.

      It would if Woolworths sold variable load IKEA gift cards.

      I have only seen $100 and $200 IKEA gift cards stocked at Woolworths (including when I checked a Woolworths earlier today).

      No.

      Woolworths changed their payment processing in late 2018 to stop you from directly using gift cards issued by Woolworths Group as a payment method. If you select Gift Card on the payment screen and then swipe, scan or manually enter a gift card issued by Woolworths Group during payment, you will get an error message.

      Additionally, you cannot use Everyday Pay to pay for a gift card. You will get an error message when the checkout attempts to take payment from your Everyday Pay wallet.

    Was planning to drop 10k on an IKEA kitchen reno. Anyone done similar big purchases using only gift cards and was there any issues?

      IKEA does not limit the amount of gift cards that you can use. I think the biggest problem you will have is finding enough gift cards to buy as Woolworths only stocks $100 and $200 cards and they usually don't keep very many cards on the shelf.

        Cheers for that. I'm gonna have to do the rounds of local Woolies to get the 50 cards I need.
