  • The rating on these are fake. Even the description notes it's made up using open circuit voltage times short circuit current, which is a meaningless rating.

    Based on physical size of the cells, both these panels are at best 90W. Likely they use low quality cells so the real world output will be much lower, and will degrade over time.

    They are cheap though - even for the likely real rating. The 135W is better value if you like making decisions to regret later.

    I also would not trust the USB charging with any expensive electronics.

      Sad that the chinese merchants can't be honest.
      Even with an honest rating they still have competitive products.

      I've bought panels like this before and ripped out the regulators / charging circuits so i could use it with ham radio.
      Works ok, but yet to find a truly RF quiet MPPT reg, tried Genesun, Victron, RocSolid and GSL.
