    It's in line with what Dyson, LG, Samsung offer in Australia, still not sure why the US market got 5 and we got 2 though

    Even if they say it’s 2 years under the ACCC consumer guarantee you have 5 years for vacuum and most small appliances. They might first deny your claim after the 2 years but as soon as you mention your knowledge of the ACCCs consumer guarantee you have your replacement or fix. Had my Dyson battery, brush head and main unit replaced 4 times in the last 5 years. The brush head was replaced 6 years after the original purchase. My MacBook Pro was replaced 4 years after the purchase due to failed motherboard. Apple first denied the warranty claim and as soon as I mentioned ACCC I had my replacement MacBook in a week.

    You just can’t be afraid to speak up and stand behind your rights.
