    IMO, I don’t feel comfortable to use this daily with new design. I still have heaps of old sistema boxes. I’m not buying it since they change design. How many people like it ? Happy to hear your opinions here.

      Exactly what I came here to say! This new design sucks, especially with the big boxes it gets stuck and flexes.

      It looks like the new design is leak proof, and I think the old design is not.

      As always, if you are happy with what you have then the best bargain is to not buy anything.

      I agree, the old design was more rectangular so packed into less space for the same capacity, and the breakage rate for clips on my new sistema is much higher than the old.

      The old ones weren’t as watertight, and sometimes the rubber seal fell out of its groove, but I’d prefer old to new for sure.

      The larger containers didn’t change design and they’re still good. The 7.9L tubs are half price at Woolies (I like the two-pack) and those are great for small equipment storage eg all your soldering stuff in one, all your glue guns in another, all your lock picks, shims and bump guns in a third

      The new design is just awful. So hard to open these sometimes and next to impossible for smaller kids, so cannot recommend for school lunches etc.

    The old ones are not water or air tight. I've had an idea for a while to lay a bead of food grade silicone above the blue seal to add extra pressure to and hopefully seal. Added advantage of keeping the seal in place.

    Yet to do it though.
