Hisense is a terrible brand with terrible customer service. You get what you pay for with these guys!

I agree. See my previous experience below. Not sure why they down voted you.

  • GC's website is really really slow, does not let me check out. constant errors

    • Their servers are in huge stress, because of the EOFY10 10% off

    • I checked out an item and never got my order number or email confirmation. My Samsung wallet and AMEX app showed money pending. I hope they either send me an invoice or cancel that pending charge…

I bought a Hisense fridge 4 years ago, for the outdoor sheltered BBQ area.
A rat chewed through the back of the fridge last year, I found out that the back bottom side near the compressor was made of cardboard, using staplers to put it together. I'm not sure if this is still the standard practice for Hisense. Please check the back side, and see if it is still using cardboard.

I bought a new one from Costco, the brand was Euro. That fridge has a metal backside.

  • no stock for pickup damn

Cheers, was about to buy it last week. That website though… do they share the same back end as the cheesecake shop website…

    • It's a shame. Mutli million dollar company can't handle expected load. Poor DevOps team

  • Rubbish freezer. I've got one and ice started building up around the seals and the bottom after just 2 months.

    • Is that enough reason to be able to return it?

I bought this one. It was 299 from Harvey Norman a few months ago. We have noticed ice on the sides recently accumulating.

  • tried to buy few days ago, website not loading

  • Still $299, with PayPal pay in 4 $50 discount it's basically free delivery. Though I wonder if Good Guys even sell anything for $50 that I want…

Anyway I bought it, been needing more freezer.
