33MP over 24MP, 4K 60, Flippy Screen, Better LCD and Viewfinder. For me, me no care.
Flip screen is a big difference, much more versatile for different angles
I have both, and I care. The things you mentioned are only the start of it.
The A7IV has better processor (Bionz XR vs Bionz X), new menu system, faster autofocus and better tracking, bird eye focus, CA app (vs Edge app compatibility), 2 X UHSII slots including CF Express A in slot 1 on a7IV vs 1 X UHSII and 1 X UHSI on A7III, huge difference in image buffer - over 100 frames RAW on A7IV vs about 90 RAW on the A7III.
The A7IV is a significantly better camera if you need any of those features. There are other improvements, like a 3rd custom settings slot, and programmable dial with lock
My me no care does not relate to the upgraded features and I wasn't going to list everything on cameradecision. I'm using an a1 and that is what the me no care was referring to.
Better ergonomic, better colour science. I found IV colour (usable) is much much better than III (not good).
the A74v was for $4500 recently. better to hold out for that over the A7iv?
