I had britbox for a bit but found it expensive for what it was however, this makes the monthly price very cheap.

I'd subscribe in a heartbeat if they had all of the various newer comedies/panel shows (8 Out of 10 Cats/Countdown and WILTY etc) and Taskmaster. Not big on dramas/cop shows. I understand they have some Taskmaster but still not enough to subscribe.
Thats what put me off. I like nostalgic reruns from my youth and stuff but they need more up to date content..was also extra miffed they didnt have current Eastenders like in the UK 🤣🤣
English panel shows just are Fantastic!
If you're seriously in to UK tv, I'd highly recommend getting a VPN (surfshark works for me) + an Amazon firestick.
Set up a UK Amazon account and then use the VPN whilst watching UK tv catch up (iPlayer, all 4, itv hub etc).
Full content, albeit with ads and all the latest stuff.
Thanks OP. Was not quite at the end of the $2 for 2 months previous offer so I had to create a new account to get this.
Told my wife and she said "Haven't we already watched everything worth watching ?" - she is probably on the mark, but we should be able to get some value over the next yr.
When I went to cancel the $2 for 2 months, so I could use this deal on a new account, it came up with an extra month for $1 … so went with that instead.
If they'd of simply allowed me to add this yearly sub to my existing account I would of not got distracted by the additional $1 deal.
Thank was waiting for the $2 deal, but this is even better!!
