1210

Hey Oz Bargain Community,

Keeping this one short and sweet to round off the EOFY. We've received multiple requests recently via email, DM and comments, to feature our crowd favourite Moments to Memories blend in a deal. You asked, we've listened, so here we go :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our crowd favourite Moments To Memories Blend, only $14.55 per 500g (usually $24.25 per 500g), and $25.50 per 1kg (usually $42.50 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 07/07/2023, unless sold out before. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the last Thursday in July. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packing (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the designated space on the cart page."
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.

Following the success of our recent trials of new shipping rates, we've decided to extend these for this deal too :)

  • First time order here, let's see how this goes! Hoping this goes well in an Aeropress.

    • +1

Terrific, thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it really does mean so much and is an opportunity we won't take for granted!

I hope you love our fresh coffee :)

  • +2

Just in time. Have a 500g bag of Aldi Medium to tide me over, was hoping for this or a Manna Beans deal.
FYI the Aldi beans aren't too bad!

    • I love when timing works out well @willyroo and I'm very glad this deal's a winner for you :)

  • +5

Glad to see 500/1000 increments on offer for this deal. Happy long term LB lover here.

    • +1

Absolutely terrific to hear, thank you so much for your feedback and sticking with us, your continued patronage means so much!

I'm wrapped to know we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there :)

Hi OP, what grind is suitable as an 'instant coffee'?

    • +12

Hey @Inspectrg appreciate you taking the time to reach out and I'm glad you checked first!

Ground coffee and instant coffee granules are different, as only a portion of ground coffee dissolves, whereas instant coffee granules are designed to completely dissolve. Although we do not current offer instant coffee, the barrier to entry to brew fresh coffee at home is relatively low. I've just done a bit of Googling for you and can see many options to buy a coffee Plunger for around $10 to get you started. Kmart has $8 Plungers, Woolworths and Ikea both have Plungers for $10. I know this may be not be the answer you were seeking, but I do hope my response is somewhat helpful :)

      • Thanks OP, appreciate the info.

        • +1

          :)

Image thumbnail looks like a screenshot from GTA3.

    • Haha I haven't heard that before, glad it caught your attention :)

  • +3

Back to the 1kg bags is good. Paying the same shipping but having to buy more often as the bags were smaller was a little annoying.

I realise there is a good reason to keep it under a certain weight, but still great to see this back

    • Hey @kulprit I'm very happy to hear this deal's a winner for you :)

Moments never actually changed to the 400g and 800g increments. The fact that Moments has remained available in 500g and 1kg quantity options may have just gone under the radar a bit because we haven't featured it in a deal since we started testing the alternate quantity increments. This deal will conclude our recent testing, as I believe we'll have enough data to know the clear path forward taking everything into account. I sincerely appreciate your understanding regarding the need to test alternate quantities and your feedback really does mean a lot too!

  • Thanks return customer here needing a top up with visitors coming on the weekend! Just in time. Here's a curly one for you / other OzBargainers: if I don't want to take a full 1/2L milk bottle to work to enjoy my LB coffee, is there a good glass container/jug you'd recommend? Would need to not leak as I often ride a motorbike. Been searching & stuff is either too expensive or not the right product. May have to revert to using a thermos and decanting it into a container when I get to work but that creates washing up. Thanks for the deal Tom.

    • +2

Have considered just reusing glass jars from other liquid products after sterilising then? Passata, spreads, condiments, etc.

  • +1

    looked like a video game

    • Haha hopefully discovering that it's a deal for fresh coffee was a pleasant surprise :)

  • +3

Upvoting again, best coffee hands down

    • WOW what a wonderful vote of confidence, thank you sincerely for the terrific compliment and upvote as well!!!

  • +3

Just putting in a request for the next deal to include the Brazil São Paulo Single Origin please, if possible :P

    • Seconded! I've been waiting for one too, been a while!

      • Thirdeded….I'm 300grams away from a bag of Aldi Brazil beans!

        • Sounds like the timing worked out nicely for this deal @valvster !

Your thirding is duly noted with thanks :)

      • +1

Indeed @SmashedMango it has been a little while :)

Seconding also noted, your feedback and patience is much appreciated!

    • +5

Hey @moocher it has been a little while since we've had a deal for our Brazil São Paulo Single Origin!

Request received and noted with thanks, no promises, but I it looks like your request is gaining momentum with the Oz Bargain Community, which is a good sign… I really appreciate your input, as always :)

      • Thank you for putting that into consideration :) It's ok if you really can't though.

        • Sure thing @moocher I sincerely appreciate your very considerate and understanding response!

We have been getting samples recently to pick the next featured Single Origin we launch. That said, we tend to focus on one deal at a time, so nothing is set in stone yet for any future deal and customer feedback holds strong weight with us :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: ooo yirgacheffe

            • @nubix: Hey @nubix appreciate the request!

We did feature a Yirgacheffe on a recent FBC Surprise Mystery Flight stop. Time will tell if we can secure enough supply to feature another Yirgacheffe as a rotating Single Origin down the track :)

  • What do you use for aeropress?

    • +1

Nice question @baldur always good to check first, better safe than sorry!

Our AeroPress grind is suited to making a filter style coffee. If you brew your AeroPress in more of an espresso style (finer grind size) then I'd recommend selecting Stovetop grind :)

  • +1

And pay the extra dollar for Aust Post delivery to the door… Waiting to see today what happens with Couriers please who yesterday said it was unsafe to deliver my coffee which is truly laughable for my place of residence.

    • +1

Hey @Ultraman shucks that sounds frustrating!

If you haven't already, could you please email a reply email to your order confirmation and we'll jump into resolution mode for you ASAP. On occasion, just like Australia Post, Couriers Please sometimes outsources deliveries to agents and this can result in delivery experiences such as yours. We see less than 1% of delivery issues or parcel damage in transit, but we're continually striving for zero issues as we think even a single delivery issue is one too many :)

      • Never had an issue with Couriers Please. In fact, I've found them faster than Aus Post.

        • Terrific to hear @Jacko1235 !

Both those delivery companies have strengths in different areas over one another. We have even seen same day delivery with Couriers Please. They have recently been implementing extra safe guard systems to further improve their delivery systems since winning some large contracts from Australia Post, such as Amazon and some big box stores too :)

I love the Sao Paulo single origin for espresso, how would you say this blend compares?

    • +1

Hey @KapitaneXtreme it's fantastic to know you love our Brazil Single Origin, thank you so much for the compliment!

Great question, as you enjoy our Brazil Single Origin so much for Espresso I believe you should enjoy this one too. To compare, our Moments to Memories will be slightly less chocolatey, a bit more fruity and have a touch more acidity in the cup :)

    • +2

I bought both, and prefer Moments to Memories - I'm a long back / dash of milk / no sugar

  • 1kg beans coming up as $29.10?

    • Hey @pufffdragon appreciate the double check!

I believe you have 1kg in 500g bags selected AKA 2x500g bags. On the product page under the packaging menu you can selected between 1kg and 500g bag packaging, if you select 1kg packaging the price for 1kg should come up as $25.50 :)

      • Ahh yep, got it. Thanks for that. Cheers!

        • :)

  • +2

We go through probably a kilo of beans every 1.5 - 2 weeks. Lime Blue is the best roaster I order from, better than Inglewood, Airjo, Manna etc

Moments to Memories is a good option

    Just ordered 3kg, thanks again!

    • +1

Woohoo for that amazing feedback and equally amazing order too, thank you so much, it truly means so much!

Very happy this deal and Moments are both winners for you :)

p.s. impressive 1-2 week volume, you must love your coffee, which is understandable as coffee is such a wonderful thing (of course a completely unbiased comment from me haha)!

  • Coffee noob, I've got an old electric drip coffee maker which grind should i get?

Edit: confused percolator with drip feed…

    • +1

Hey @shernjr glad you reached out to check first, always better safe than sorry is the best bet!

Appreciate the edit, pour over grind should be the winner for you for drip coffee :)

  • ok, ordered 3 kgs looking at the reviews. The timing was perfect, was running out on my last 3kg bag of Airjo.

    • I love to hear when timing works out perfectly :)

What a fantastic first order to place with us, thank you so much, it's truly appreciated and an opportunity we won't take for granted!

Lime blue would have to be the #1 coffee provider in my book - I’m from Sydney and order very regularly.

Rare to have a small business (well, I assume it’s small- I could be wrong) with:
    1. Amazing product, great taste, quality and freshness
    2. Exceptional customer service - so responsive, and accommodating
    3. Brilliant price

You sir Tom, have nailed the trifecta. Tim tam an added bonus #4!

Getting my order in! Also add my request for the Brazil beans for next sale =) and very glad sizes have gone up to 500g as i go through the 400g too fast !! :)

    • Make sure you hide the Tim Tam! I made the mistake of not eating it straight away and allowed it to sit in the pantry cupboard for more than a day…then it mysteriously disappeared. Nobody has confessed yet…Guess I need to order some more coffee to replace it. I really liked MTM when I tried it as a long black, nice balance of flavour and acidity.

      • Oh no @Chazzozz it looks like there's a Tim Tam burglar on the loose. You'll need to get stuck into the Tim Tam as soon as your next delivery arrives or install a Tim Tam safe :)

Love your approach to replacing the missing vanished Tim Tam haha

Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic feedback, I'm very happy to hear how much you've been enjoying Moments to Memories!

    • All of the above and I really like how they're coffee beans have character. If I want a traditional cafe roast there are so many options.

      • Hey @Jacko1235 that's truly excellent feedback to receive, thank you so much for that fantastic vote of confidence, it really does mean a lot!

Our coffee described as having "character" has a really nice ring to it :)

At some point, somewhere, I think I may like to use the expression "coffee beans with character." As this would be quite close to what you've said, would you mind if we potentially used it to describe our coffee in the future?

        • That expression has a great ring to it and go right ahead. I'm out of coffee and I have a bag of the Colombia Cauca in the mail so I usually order a bag of Airjo Enteprise to tide me over but I'm just going through a bag of Aldi Lazzio Medium beans. Enterprise tastes better (I suspect as the Aldi beans were roasted a month ago) but not for the convenience/price of the Aldi beans.

I feel for the traditional Aussie cafe coffee taste there's just too many options and it's almost impossible to differentiate on price/taste. I do like with Airjo how it's very easy to compare beans e.g. if you like Enterprise and want something more fruity then try x or if you want something darker then try. Also if there could be an option to change despatch dates for delayed shipping that would be amazing.

    • WOW WOW WOW @dammit what an exceptionally complimentary vote of confidence. Thank you immensely for sharing such thoughtful and uplifting feedback about us, it means the world!!!

I'm absolutely thrilled to know that you're so happy with your Lime Blue Coffee experience, we'll keep working hard to stay in your good books :)

Brazil request received and duly noted. I sincerely appreciate you shooting through another order. Your continued support is truly appreciated and as a small business (and even if we become a large business one day, fingers crossed) we'll never take it for granted!

MTM are my favourite beans for making my flat whites. Family/friends can't believe I purchase beans interstate rather than locally, but when you're on to a good thing you stick to it! Keep up the good work.

    • +1

Wise words @Tex Texan (of course an unbiased comment by me haha) :)

Amazing to hear, I'm thrilled to know Moments is your favourite. Thank you so much for your continued support and helping to spread the word about Lime Blue Coffee to your family and friends, it truly means so much to us and we'll keep working hard to stay in your good books!

  • +1

Any chance of a deal on the decaf Tom? :)

    • Hey @downhillmtbr appreciate the query, never hurts to ask!

Prior to launching a deal we generally need to increase our stock holdings for the featured product/s. At present we only have enough Decaf in stock to handle any full priced orders, not the volume required for a decaf deal, so it won't be featured for this deal. However, we value feedback, so no promises, but we'll take your feedback into account for future deals when we start planning. If you're getting drastically low on the good stuff, you can always get a small bag of our SWP Decaf at full price to tie you over :)

  • Heaps keen to give this a shot. I'm currently waiting on the Hario Shizuku Slow Cold Drip Brewer to arrive. What would be the recommended grind?

    • +1

Fantastic to hear, very happy and appreciative your openness to giving us a shot!

Nice question, glad you checked first, Plunger grind should be the winner for you :)

      • Thank you for that, Plunger grind ordered :)

        • Terrific, thank you so much, hope you love it!

  • If I already have another order scheduled for late July and I place another order for the same date, can you guys combine the orders to save shipping?

    • +1

Morning @icedtea229 really appreciate you checking in first before firing off a fresh order!

We can certainly make that happen for you. However, rather than placing an additional order, it's a much cleaner process if you simply send a reply email to your existing order confirmation with the request. From there we'll add the product/s to that order and send you a payment link for the difference :)

  • I'm using a Bialetti stovetop moka pot. Do I get espresso grind or stovetop grind? (coffee n00b over here) Thanks!

  • +1

Morning @naomieve always better to check first, than wonder after!

Stovetop grind should be the winner for you :)

    • Thank you! Just placed my order for 3kg :) Unfortunately I forgot - 1kg should have been plunger grind. I'll send an email to the order confirmation email to ask for a change, will that be okay?

      • +1

Fantastic, thank you once again for placing such a terrific first order with us, it's truly appreciated!

No stress at all, easy fixed, I'm glad you caught the detail and let us know in such a speedy fashion. Email received, replied to and order all sorted for you now :)

  • I’m buying, purely based on OP’s amazing communication here. And positive comments from other users.

    • Yep same here. I hope I get 1 TimTam per 500gram ordered (so 6 in total :-))

      • +1

Fantastic @xyzed really appreciate you order, thank you so much!

We don't want you to have a sugar overload, so the general rule is 1 complimentary Tim Tam per order. I'm very happy the comments hear caught your eye and we sincerely appreciate you giving us a shot, especially with such a terrific first order :)

    • WOW @Tightmike thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it's truly appreciated. I sincerely hope you're even more impressed with our fresh coffee than our communication and positive comments :)

I'm so glad the comments and our responses caught your eye, your order is an opportunity we won't take from granted!

  • In the absence of more Brazil São Paulo, I've ordered a ~3-Mo supply of this. Going to be a crowded freezer for a while!

    • What a terrific order @lostincanberra thank you so much, your order really does mean so much!

p.s. love the coffee freezing skills :)

      • Well, I experimented with (cough) 'someone else's coffee' and was surprised that I couldn't tell the 'frozen for 2 months' stuff from that that I used straight after arrival!

So. Apart from the freezer space issue, freezing is a winner option for this household.

        • Lime Blue IS part of our regular rotation - and the quality of the coffee PLUS the responsiveness of the representative takes it to the top of the coffee mountain.
        • +1

Fantastic to hear about the results you've experienced!

I think the coffee quality maintained resulting from freezing coffee is one of life's little gems and really opens up the possibility of easily having a combo of everyday coffees and weekend special coffee treats at home; convenience without compromising quality is always a win :)

Absolute music to my ears to know that we're the top of your coffee mountain, we'll keep working hard to stay there!

  • +5

I've been a long term Airjo fan, and before that Manna Beans and Sweet Yarra. This year I've explored a bunch of different roasters; Lime Blue, Inglewood, Mylk, Nostalgia, Beans Knees. From my extensive tasting notes (cough which is just me scrawling things like 'yummy' or 'yeah ok' on the bags after finishing the beans, and stashing the empty bags in my cupboard) I think Lime Blue are definitely towards the top of the pack for me. BES920 + Breville Smart Grinder, making lattes and piccolos.

    • +1

WOW @salem what a terrific vote of confidence, especially as you've done the rounds to discover what you really enjoy, thank you so much for the compliment!

p.s. love your extensive note skills. I literally do the same on my first round of testing new cupping samples. The "OK" ones don't make it past the first round of taste testing. The "yummy" ones make it to round two and then my notes start to get a bit more technical :)

    • Hi Salem, any rcommendations on the grind size?

  • The SO Sao Paolo was great. Giving this one a try! Thanks OP

    • Absolute music to my ears, I'm so glad to hear how much you've enjoyed our Brazil SO, fingers crossed to enjoy Moments just as much!

Thank you so much for another order, it's truly appreciated :)

  • Can I have some beans for free?

    • Magic beans?

  • is pour over grind same as filtered? Got a Moccamaster machine

And is this good for black coffee? If not, what;'s your best seller for black coffee?

    • Hey @sauce2k appreciate the check in, better safe than sorry!

Confirming the settings are the same for both :)

  • Hello @LimeBlueCoffee, I could be a little late to the party, but is the deal still on? I have $29.10 showing up in my browser

    • Hey @Benwa appreciate the check in!

I believe you have 1kg in 500g bags selected AKA 2x500g. On the product page if you change the packaging to 1kg you should see the price change to $25.50 :)

      • I'm a numpty! Thanks, purchase incoming! :)

        • No stress, all good :)

Sounds terrific, thank you so much in advance!

  • top 3 recommendations please so i can fill my cart. thanks

  • ordered 1kg to try. got to first finish the grounds I already have, so might be a while

    • Fantastic, thank you so much for your order, it's truly appreciated!

  • Thank you! Ordered 2kg. Never tried before so I'm pretty keen to give these a go.

    • Terrific, thank you sincerely for placing your first order with us, it really does mean so much and is an opportunity we won't take for granted!

I hope you love our fresh coffee :)

  • Just placing an order now after reading the comments above!

Can I suggest an option of discounted express post shipping in addition to the free shipping if the order is over $69?

Looking forward to giving this a try :D

    • Hey @deva5610 I'm very glad the comments caught your attention and thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it's an opportunity we won't take for granted!

Great suggestion and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I have thought about this idea on a prior occasion, however the cost of Express shipping is a tad problematic. I know it may seem simple in terms of if $6.99 standard shipping is removed for $69 orders then an Express upgrade for $3.99 for $69 order makes sense. However, as we subsidise our flat rate shipping for customers to keep it low, the calculation is a bit more complex, so any further discount to Express shipping will take a bit more time to analyse. That said, it is a very good suggestion from you in theory, we just need to think on it to see if it'll work from a practical cost perspective :)

      • Cheers for the reply, the coffee is great BTW. Already reordered a few kg of the Brazil SO from your current offer.

My thinking with the suggestion was that if express perhaps dropped to the standard post cost of $6.99 for orders over the threshold it could be a bit of a win/win. Acknowledging that express post still costs you more to ship, but providing a little benefit as well to the customer.

Glad to hear it’s something you’ll think about anyways.

  • Hi Tom
Do you have a suggestion for what coffee to use in this
