  • Looks alright. Poor reviews (from the three that I read!) as a speakerphone.

    • yeah, I read those too (from Amazon and productreview)

But I already have a jabra…so this would just be for streaming music and hooking up to my surround sound setup on the odd occasion!

  • This the worst speaker i ever had. It's make a buzzing sound like when you put your headset to maximum.

  • would an ipod touch work with this? what are some other options out there?

  • That speaker was on the all (supposed to be ) amazing 30 minute sale today on COTD, I did not try and buy that item which under the oh so special 30 minute deal was $9.95 + $10 P&H so it seams COTD are misleading the public again. I must admit I have tried to buy a couple of the specials but even though they add it to your cart, when you go to pay it states "sorry this item is out of stock" I think someone should try and make them accountable for this OH so special deals where here you have proven that it is cheaper to buy outside the 30 minute window.

    • But the item could work out cheaper when combining shipping, so the $9.95 is technically cheaper. There's nothing legally misleading about that.
Was the $10 postage a shipping cap promo?

  • This is one butt ugly speaker.

  • just bought 2 - it is still available

  • Speakerphone part does not work.

  • Yeah - still available if you want it… has become a 'facebook exclusive'. Was tempted, but then remembered a couple of Uniden portable 'phones I had, and how I'd sworn never to buy anything from them again…

  • The Logitech portable speaker was a better deal in my opinion. I have one and can't fault the size/quality/price ratio. No bluetooth, but you can by a cheap bluetooth unit off DX or ebay for less than $10. This is pretty good value if you want the convenience of inbuilt bluetooth.

  • OK i received this unit the other day, all charged up and seems to work great (the sound is pretty decent, although a bit bass-y).

The only problem I have is connecting it to a HiFi system to enable "Bluetooth wireless" streaming…which is one of the main reasons I bought this thing!

As per advertising: The BTS150 turns your ordinary hifi system into a bluetooth wirelesss enabled system.

I've tried connecting the Uniden speaker to my hifi amp via the 3.5mm jack….but it will ONLY play via BT through the portable speaker, not through my Hifi system.

Am I missing something? would appreciate any help!
