I absolutely love my Sonos Beam Gen 2. Have it set up with my LG C1 in my bedroom with a couple of Sonos speakers. Awesome. Also, have it set up to wake up to SEN in the morning for sport listening.
I picked this up today and it was open box. They gave me a further 15% off on top of this. It sounds so good.

I feel like some people will abuse this cuz there's not way for them to check that it wasn't opened up receiving it
In my case, the person who handled my click and collect was the one who spotted it opened first before giving it to me. He was transparent and offered the discount as it was the last stock as well.
Can it connect without wifi? as I only use mobile plan and no NBN so I don't have a wifi router etc.
Without wifi you won’t be able to control it with the app.
What you can do is buy a cheap wifi router - under $50. You can use wifi without internet connectivity.
This will allow you to control the Sonos on the app. However you won’t be able to play any music - Spotify etc on it if you don’t have an internet connection.

Without the sub, its only useful as a draft/door stopper. So better further open wider your wallets, fellow Ozbargainers.
Maybe for the Arc yes, but the Beam holds its own well in terms of bass.
I'm really happy with my Beam (Gen 2). Way better than the built in speakers in my LG C2. And I can confirm, the bass just from the Beam is great.
Yeah I have an Arc and Sub in one room, and Beam Gen 1 in another. The Beam sounds really good. It feels designed to stand on its own whereas I think with the Arc it really needs the sub to bring the bass out.
Says the person who just dropped cash on a Bose system, sub and all lol.
I got this for my dad a little while ago. He loves it.
It doesn’t do bluetooth, which for him is good because his neighbours used to connect to his previous one and blast music or podcasts.
Would recommend.
