15% off a Huge Range (Exclusions Apply) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

1204
EXTRA15

Get an extra 15% off on your purchase using the code EXTRA15. See product pages to see if your item is eligible. Combine with EOFY deals while they last to get the best bargains. Doesn't apply to Apple as usual. Applies to other items like phones, TVs, fridges, laptops, etc.

@Ryder08's comment on the Dyson post: "SB has a flash sale from 12pm - 6pm which stacks with the 15%. Says "up to 5%". Otherwise CR is 4%".

For those experiencing site/server errors, the deal ends on Sunday so there is lots of time for the website to recover from being OzBargained if you wait.

Cannot apply EXTRA15 to s23 ultra 512g blk even it was mentioned on the product page? Also can I also stack up further $400 off from signing up Telstra $49/m plan for a month?

    • looks like a bug. Works with 256GB.

    • +1

15% off and $400 off AND a free Galaxy watch. That's a freaking deal.

      • I will head to the store and ask if I can do that today.

        • please update mate. want to know too but too lazy to go. It's winter here in Melbourne and the closest GG is like 20 mins from my place. Not really keen to call too due to the language barrier. thanks

          • @phaol7ta: Checked the T&Cs and unfortunately not stackable:

Offer only available in store. Excludes online purchases, gift card purchases, The Good Guys
Commercial, eBay Store, agency brands, and existing JB Hi-Fi, Telstra & Boost Pre-Paid
customers. Offer not in conjunction with any other offer.

        • Please let us know if this works

        • I just tried - they wouldn't let me stack the offers :(

        • +1

I went to the store and got the 256gb version for $998.25 + $49 for the Mobile plan. Will be getting the watch via redemption.

        • +3

The GG i went to let me stack the $400 from the $49 plan with the 15% off a Samsung s23+ 256gb in the one transaction. Phone was $789.15.

Just spent around $2k on a fridge and dishwasher at Good Guys Friday night… damn. Wonder how I’ll go trying to return and re-purchase(?!)

    • Good luck. You have till Sunday night to sort it out.

    • Yep, talked a friend into buying a new TV and Blu-ray player yesterday as part of their EOFY sales… only for the sale pricing to still be showing now, with the 15% discount applying to them. Not impressed by TGG whatsoever pulling this stunt the day :/

      • +1

Take your receipt back to the shop and get difference refunded, no problems.

    • +1

They usually match the price if it was bought within a week - pending store manager

    • I also bought a fridge on Thursday. So sad now with 15% off + 5% cashback via Shopback :( It appears that their 30 Day Price Guarantee policy now only applies if you have the Gold Service Extras membership? Can anyone confirm?

      • Wonder if there's a cap on the 5%? It didnt say on the ShopBack page which is weird but meant it left it open. Anyone know if there was a cap?

  • +2

can this code be used in store as well?

    • usually these codes don't as they need a checkout page to type the code into. You would have to call and ask a store to check,if you really want in store.

      • because I got pretty much gift card which I have to pay in store…..

        • Why do you need to use the gift cards in store?

    • +1

Just went in store, they have 15% off everything advertised everywhere.

  • +2

So suddenly all the Google nest cam range are gone. wtf?

    • +1

they didn't employ Jack, but whoever they did works a different way.

    • also noticed this

    • +1

Same for Eufy Cam & Homebase packs

    • guess what, all the range is back online now, right after the 15% ended.

  • +2

Perhaps TGG should be expected to consult with the OB community prior to running a %off promotion. Really??

  • Applicable to consoles?

    • I think gaming consoles are never in offers. They have their own offer

  • +6

    website is too slow!

    • +4

Slow enough it’s giving me time to question do I need this item.

  • +3

The extra 15% brings a Google TV 4K, down to $67.15. Thanks OP.

    Any good tvs for sale?

    • No stock of run out models and new models are not discounted yet…

  • I was waiting for something like this, have been looking at getting a Sonos Sub gen 3. Already on sale but and extra 15% off + potential store credit is awesome!

Website is garbage. Can't checkout. Taylor swift tickets easier to get.

    • +3

Taylor swift tickets easier to get.

      Ugh don't say that, I have first-hand experience 😅

  • +8

The Good Guys has been ozbargained. Is this the biggest name ever to have become ozbargained?

  • Any good robotic vaccum recommendations pls

  • +2

    The site lags so bad

  • Do you think can price match at officewords?

    • not with promo codes I think

    • It's instore too.

  • +1

Checkout not working site is crushed

    • took my money too

  • Great success!

Managed to check out and paid after a very annoying processing using Ultimate Everyone Gift Card + 7 year Gold Service Extra + Shopback 5% cash back

    • Oohhhh, forgot to check shopback, was looking at CR 4%.
      will check SB!

      • +1

haha yes flash sale 5% to 6pm ;)

    • +2

T&Cs: no cashback on amount paid with gift card and gold service extra though

      • The gift card is fine because ultimate gc is treated like a credit card

But I probably void the cash back because I added gold service

        • Wow the gold is in the comments… I'm mindblown by this. Ultimate GC is treated like a credit card? 😱😱😱😱

So you could technically double stack (10% off from gift card + 5% shopback)?

So ignorant I'm learning new things everyday.

          • +1

@b0b0: well yes depending on how much of a discount you got the Ultimate GC for

i was buying the $1000 ones @ 8% off and $500 at Woolies for 10% off

Issue sometimes is that you can only use 1 card online that can cover the whole amount and sometimes the $1000 can do it without going in-store to do multiple small denomination cards

It's technically a prepaid visa card but I can't see why it would be treated as a gift card like Good Guys gift card or JB Hi Gift card.

Prepaid visa cards also work at various Shopback and Cashrewards promos like pizza hut where I use restaurant choice card as a credit card

and now….. good guys will be doing a Bin block lol

            • @Poor Ass: Thanks for the explaination.. that makes a lot of sense. I'd rather get a large nomination one than heading in store!

    • May I know how to purchase online with multiple ultimate gift cards please?

      • +1

        Sure

        The answer is you can't

You have to pay whole amount on one card

        • Thanks I'll take a visit to a local store

          • +1

@anjel: Only issue is the 15% off may only be online

            So you'll need to check

  • +5

Where are the website severs located?Mars?

  • +2

    website is absolutely hopeless :/

    • +1

managed to get through the checkout process after an hour :/

      • +2

I did after hopelessly trying for an hour or so. Tbh pickup was so swift compared to their website.

      • +1 also took an hour… I should have just driven to the store and back, it doesn't take an hour 🤔

  • Still not loading lol

  • Managed to nab a Sonos Sub gen 3, took me literally 50 attempts but got there in the end

  • Thanks grabbed a Weber Family Q for $644. 15% off and after 5%SB

  • Wanted the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni $1699.15 with 15% off applied. Take another 5% cashback from Shopback is a good deal although not as cheap as $1598 from Bing Lee deal that expired couple days ago. Prefer T20 Omni which is a better robot but I don't think it will be available in Australia, as the precedent model T10 Omni wasn't selling in Australia too.

  • +2

Bloody slow process but managed to get an order in for a Sonos Arc White for $1021 delivered to Brisbane Metro… Shopback Cashback should bring it down to roughly $960ish…

  • +1

Code isn't working for the S23+ 256gb model. Keeps saying "You've entered a duplicate code". Any work around on this?

  • Been trying to buy something on the TGG website (via mob + laptop) and it's managed to fail three times at the payment stage.

Is this a sign to not buy anything?

    • Probably same team making the KFC app… it's a joke for such big "tech" company to be this bad, I gave up buying altogether, might just head to store and skip the cashback

      • Do they accept 15% off?

  • do they have price protection or something like that? Bought something like few days back.
    Quite disappointing with this

    • Yeah I think tgg has 14 days pp

      • Ill try to call them tomorrow morning
        Cheers

        • @MurahMeriahOy Did you call? Any luck to get the price difference back?

      • I can't find this on their website? Is this documented anywhere?

I can only see 30 day guarantee with gold service add on.

  • Any good TV worth upgrading too around $800?
Using for PS5 gaming, movies etc.

  • Any good washing machine around $600?

  • The bissell carpet cleaner for 450 is good.wish the cashback was bettter

    • After tossing for a while, I got Vax vx100 today. It was advertised for $399 before, currently down to $329 +15% off. Let's hope it is doing its job properly lol.
