    why not Sydney?:(

  • Good deal, though I suspect it'll be a mad house there. That's a savings of $42.95.

  • I read the title as "with punch of child"

  • Tickets are so expensive… When I was a kid, it was like 10-12 bucks for an adult ticket.

At Gold Coast you can get unlimited yearly access to three theme parks for $100. About 50% less if you buy the pass close to expiry date (mid year I think). Those are also much bigger than LP. Puts value into perspective.

    • true but don't forget to add airfares, accommodation, meals and leave from work for residents outside Gold Coast…..so saving $42.95 for Melbournians is not too bad……..in my opinion :)

      • Specific to Melbournians, you have a point.

But I don't think that's a fair comparison. You can compare the cost of Gold Coast theme parks to (if we're called Melburnians, does that mean they're called Brisbanians?) residents of QLD, against to cost of Luna Park entry to Melburnians, or you can add the travel costs of other Aussies going to Melbourne. That would be more fair.

The last time I went I was less than half my current age. Unless they have expanded their grounds, Luna Park is a joke. I've wanted to go back there for old time's sake, but always balked at the $42 entry fee.

  • So Toddler unlimited ticket is not entitled for this offer?

    • I guess not….reading the promotion….but may be worthwhile confirming with LP
