This or the Samsung s60b. Grateful for any insight.

Not saying this isn't a deal but damn makes the deals on the 600 look fantastic in comparison…

The Soundbar 600 at $385 was a much better deal, dont think this is a deal at all. The Atmo projection on the 600 really helps to give a rounded sound stage.

  • do you use this in combination with a surround sound kit?

    • I havent seen anyone do that. Normally soundbars are used on their own. Its either soundbar or surround sound system, not both at the same time. Each will deliver a different experience based on the ability of the device combined with your TV/DVD/Blu Ray player.

Just to clarify, the bose smart speaker range IS compatible with the wireless sub and wireless speakers. Which is great if you want to buy one, and slowly add on in the future.
I have the full setup and am happy with it's performance. Note* Next upgrade will definitely be a DIY setup to give me dolby atmos.

      Yes you can,
I have the smart soundbar 700, with wireless sub and wireless surround speakers (can't remember what model numbers). They work really well together, yes I know it's more expensive than DIY 5.1 systems, but I'm happy with what I have.

    • Most small soundbar w/o external subwoofer work better in smaller / closed room setting.

  • bought s60b for $274, and i do not judge this as a bargain

    • Would you recommend the s60b. I'm looking at getting a compact soundbar to pair with a 32inch samsung smart monitor M7. the cheapest I can find is $294. I am genuinely interested on any real experience on how the s60b compares to the Bose 300.

      • i never used bose 300, but s60b is fantastic in my experience. i bought it for 274 several weeks ago.

  • Don’t forget to stack with TGG or TCN gift card for 10% off.

  • Any feedback on https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/polk-signa-s4-sound-bar-w… compare to the above sound bar in terms of features

    • Not sure if the neg for the comment or for Pulk S4 Soundbar? I was just asking for a feedback on which is better

Not worth $699. I tried before, had to return it due to poor quality sound, or worst than compared to TV speakers. I am using A80J.

  • Sonos Beam gen 2 $hits on this

  • The 600 was $385 very recently, so this might not be that great value.

I got the 600 and I'm happy with it for the price. It lacks deep bass so I don't expect this model to be any better.

  • I'd be making sure it has decent bass. No sub-woofer is always questionable.
From what I can tell, BOSE has in the past sold soundbars cheap and then people need to go out and buy an extensive proprietary sub-woofer to make it decent.

Soundbars by itselves are next to useless. To fully appreciate its awesomeness (to come out), a sub is definitely a must have and should be made standard practice by everyone, buyers and manufacturers alike.

The surrounds can be added much later and is optional.

  • no atmos… abit weak

  • Also Bluetooth 4.2 😞, now a days most of soundbar comes with Bluetooth 5 and above.

    • The differences between Bluetooth 4.2 to 5.0 will probably be minor in terms of for the audiophiles

  • Lmao recently bought the soundbar 600 for $389.
Better wait for another sale. This one not worth it.
