      Excited for the beans I love their original (Sunset Blvd) blend.

      I had it initially when just putting in number in first box. Ended up putting number and street name in first box and it worked …. Let’s see if it arrives though.

    Yep I received my free 500g the other week still haven’t used it, I don’t think i will no roast date on it and doesn’t tell me what roast it is eg dark medium etc.

      Almost certain they are freshly roasted, I received mine as well. Speaking from a little bit of experience, very infrequently roasting my own beans

          It's medium/medium light depending on how you judge it.

          No roast date on the pack, but my guess is they were roasted not more than 2 weeks ago (mine anyway)

            @TEER3X: There is no such thing its either a medium roast or a light roast nothing in between and that is always written on the pack. No roast date means it could have been done months ago. Like beans from coles don’t trust coffee that doesn’t have a roast date.

            @TEER3X: found it they list it on the website look up "Downtown" on there website and it will say its a Dark Roast. How you even thought it was in the ball park of medium or light I will never know.

            So for those that get the "downtown" blend it is infact a dark roast, I am asking them directly when the roast date was, and I will share it here once I know.

                @TEER3X: ok I got it on the 10th of july and they have emailed me back and said it was roasted on the 7th of july, I haven't opened it yet but at least I now know when it was roasted.

                    @G-rig: as I have said many times I have there beans in my fridge I am still using my light roast beans I always use. I never use dark roasted beans because I am not a fan.

                    Once you go light roast you never go back.

                      You may consider vac sealing then freezing them if you're really anal about freshness.

                        However in winter may leave them out room temp, got a vac coffee container. 500g gets used quick enough so wouldn't stress.

    I signed up a week ago and I’ve yet to receive the beans despite getting an email saying it’s getting mailed out.

    The website now says:

    This promotion is reserved for new subscribers only. Submissions must enter by scanning the billboard at 83 Mckinnon Rd, Mckinnon VIC 3024. The prize is limited to one submission per person.

    PHOTO ID MUST BE PRESENTED WHEN COLLECTING THE PRIZE. YOUR PHOTO ID MUST HAVE THE SAME NAME AND ADDRESS AS WAS WRITTEN ON THE SUBMISSION FORM.

    The prize must be collected from 23 Lionel Rd, Mount Waverley, VIC 3149. There is no freight option to receive the prize.

    Got an email on 24 July saying coffee would be on its way and tracking info would be provided when the coffee is sent.

    Nothing since and they've changed the terms of the promotion. Total BS. Rep should be banned for shameless email/details harvesting.

      A bit harsh mate!! OP from OZbargain seen a billboard in his local area saying free coffee beans and he let us know about it a month ago and plenty of us got the free beans. Then the business took the link off, couple of weeks later someone discovered that the link is active again, then you applied and did not get your free beans as business probably overwhelmed by the amount of people that supposedly seen the billboard and they are now ensuring people are following the terms and conditions. So don't understand why you are asking the Rep to be banned, as he never got involved in this whole post…
