Very widely reviewed game controller, at an all-time low, $3 cheaper than the previous deal.

  • 200Hz polling rate (like XBox Elite, Switch Pro controllers)
  • 4ms latency (very low)
  • Hall Effect joysticks (Gulikit)
  • Switch button layout (main right thumb button covers can be replaced, but a little pricey to do)
  • Comes with rechargeable dock
  • Comes with wireless adaptor
  • 2.4 GHz & Wireless modes (switch on back of controller)

This beats out the original Gulikit options as those are plagued with latency issues that make them unusable for competitive play. Enjoy!

  • This or 2.4g version?

    • +3

2.4 GHz version doesn't have the Hall Effect sticks. The Bluetooth version supports 2.4GHz, so it's worth sticking to this one.

    8BitDo Pro 2 Black/Grey $59 Delivered

    • You can go ahead and post that separately, completely different proposition.

  • Will this work with Macs?

    • There seems to be workarounds available, and they're working on a firmware update.

The 2.4GHz version without the Hall Effect sensors already works after a firmware update.

  • Does this work for Xbox series s?

    • +1

Currently it requires something like the Brook Wingman to connect via its Bluetooth mode (not cheap), but it's an X-input controller when running via 2.4GHz, so direct support may come in the future.

If you find a better solution to get it connected, feel free to let us know!

  • this or the official xbox wireless controller with adapter for the same price?

    • For Xbox? The stock controller.

For anything else other than PlayStation? This.

Both of those may see support down the line, more likely the Xbox.

      • For pc only. I play xcloud via gamepass.

Out of curiosity, it seems that the 8bitdo is a better controller and would beat the official one if it could have support for xbox console?

        • +1

Correct, but I don't think they've paid to have it certified.
