      Realistically the majority of the world's supply chain is made in China, which is an issue but not the issue I mean here.

      Cheap brandless junk seems to be getting very common. And they're not really bargains. See @Nand0sx comment below as an example right in this post.

    LiPo, so yep.
    You want lithium Ion for the extra stability.
    The small capacity bump isn't worth it for the chance of having a spicy pillow when you charge it.

    Not that LiIon can't manfunction, but it's just much more resilient.

  Can anyone confirm it is actually 10,000mah? Last Chinese spec power bank I bought had a battery inside marked 5,000mah when they advertised 20,000mah.

  The size and weight seems suspicious for 10,000

    Unless confirmed, assume it's fake. Almost all these Chinese unpronounceable name brands lie in their specs. They just keep generating new brand names to keep ahead of all the negative reviews/reputation their junk generates, and Amazon does not care.
