        @thesmartone1125 just bought two myself, had a look around at the difference between the starter kit and expansion kit - looks like given the prices are pretty much the same, buying 2x starter kits gets you a slightly better deal because you will get 2x that controller unit and also works out like 2 dollars cheaper lol

        So I bought 2x of the Starter Kit and planning to daisy chain them up together in an 18 panel arrangement

          @aaronsd: Looking at buying now but I think prices are different.

          Currently Starter kit is $96.54 and Expansion Kit is $69.12

          Can I ask what price you paid? Thanks! I submitted an order for Starter + Expansion for $165.66 but looks like it was cheaper before?

            @cyrax83: Also I noticed Corsair have dropped the retail price on these now - Starter Kit is $50 USD, Expansion kit is $35 USD. Seems like the Australian price drop has not filtered down

  Looks like a good deal. I tried really hard to convince myself why this would be cool. But as OP says, this is not for everyone and for me, it would just end up being junk.
