Is it worth the extra cost compared to the kmart one?

I have the Kmart one. Works a treat.

Same - happy with it but I'm wondering if I should invest in a more expensive one since I make brioche / bread quite often

Does anyone know how it differs from the normal Panasonic breadmaker?

      It's from Melbourne.

    • I'd like to know too, can't seem to find what's different about this model.

Reviews say its great at artisan bread but not for normal bread. Apparently pre-set settings are inflexible even compared to cheaper models. Strange given this is the most expensive model Panasonic offers.

    • Yeah, I noticed reviews weren't great. Oh well, will stick with our 'normal' one.

I recently bought Panasonic r2530 model and this machine makes fantastic bread, nicer and fresher than what you get from supermarket. I had aldi one a while back and was never able to make nicer bread from that machine. I did look up this specific model in post but went for r2530 instead for normal bread.

By the way, I used different recipe than the one in menu as I couldn't get good result from the machine menu recipe. I used this one and converted qty for 250g flour https://youtu.be/vF8e1kEdyAo. I also put bread improver (a must according to my aunt in law who was head chef or something in a commercial bakery factory overseas who also hold a food science degree or some sort…)

There isn't yeast dispenser in this model r2530, but it wasn't an issue with scheduled bake setting. For scheduled baking, key is to put water/wet ingredients first, then make sure dry yeast doesn't mix with salt as salt can kill yeast (that is what I read online)
