iTunes Card Buy 1 Get 1 Free ($20 Cards) at HN, 10–11am Saturday

1340

Same thing as last time 1 hour only special, they also have 750gb portables for 78. Saw this in the Telegraph, should be nationwide.

Should be in store only, and limit to 1+1 per person like the last time.

    • Didn't notice this before when I searched. Did saw that one though but thought it was a gps deal only.

  • thanks for the post garratt, does the ad say if there is a limit on how much you can buy?

    • Limited to 2, ie buy one get one to get the 2

  • is this online? or in store?

    • +3

This is the important part of this whole thing…

    • I assume it's in store only like then last time.

      • 100% In-store; the entire point is trying to draw customers in, and hopefully buy something a lot more in value or accessories to substituted the free $20.00

  • Should I try getting the 750gb Seagate go flex for $78 or a 1 tb toshiba touro for $99? Which has a better build quality?

    • i know what type of hdd is in a goflex…. but whats the hdd in a tuoro…

      • What's in the Seagate Goflex 750?

        • I assume it's a seagate but from the photo it looks like it's one of the ultra portable (instead of the standard 2.5 inch portable.) goflex, therefore it might be native usb?? Can anyone confirm?

      • Hitachi

    • Oops. I meant 1TB Hitachi Touro.

  • Hmm..the last time I bought $200 worth for $100. Still have plenty of balance left..but tempted to buy another one.. hahaha..

  • Awwwwwwh. ..just bought a $20 itune card from jb yesterday. Is it possible to get a refund from the card?

  • My local HN has only one gift card terminal Be prepared for long queues……

Last time HN offered this deal my local store new nothing about and I had to get them to look at OB webpage to see the deal was legitimate. In relation to limits last time it was one per customer so I just had friends and family get to the store early pick the cards up off the rack and hold onto them and wait around until 10am to buy them

  • Anyone know if it includes ultrabooks?

    • +9

What are you talking about? This is a $20 iTunes Gift Card, how did you get Ultrabook from that?…

  • Sorry wrong post, their both harveynorman anyway http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/78740

  • Previous deal some stores allowed you to buy $50 value cards and not limited to 1 per person so I guess it is worth a try to grab more to see if you are lucky enough to get through this time.

    seems like a family event

  • Anyone willing to scan in and post a copy of the HN telegraph ad? There is no mention of this on the website as far as I can see.

  • They make it so inconvienant!! Why don't they have online to… Online makes good business to you know.

    • +3

They wants to lure you to their stores and hoping people will buy more than the cards. Wouldn't work as well with a online sale.

  • So this is buy one get one free? Or just for $20 cards?
Don't forget, u can go to Officeworks and price match these, I work for them, we ascept the 2$20s for $30 deal, and also this deal.

    • Tried this last time, the local office works refused to price match. Some excuse about its different etc.

    • Is the price match valid just between 10am-11am at OW?

      • Tried it again at a different OW this time, first they said it's a buy one get one free so they can't price match. Where I corrected them in saying that it's essentially 50 per enter off, they said they were going to check Harvey Norman stock, then they said they can't price match because it's a gift card.

Granted it was 9.45 but it was going no where.

  • anyone have proof?? I want to do what DEvok Said ^^

  • Qv melbourne has plenty in stock. Cards for this deal are pre activated and available at the front counter. Limit of one deal per person.

  • no mention of if this is gonna be available in WA any one know.?

  • HN Moore park NSW still got plenty stocks, the staffs there even dedicated a counter to purchase itunes cards…. For their own that is.. they can buy multiple cards, guess for resale

    Cheers op :)
Just got home with $160 value, costing $80… sorted for awhile!

    • Guess the neg is cause you missed out…

  • done deal, activation counter had them ready at Garden City, QLD.

  • WA city west sold out of cards in 15 mintues :(

    • HN Vic Park was out in 10 (time I got there) but Belmont forum had heaps about the place at 11:50 when I got there.

    • Malaga had plenty still going strong bout 10.40 but they were really cracking down on the 1 per customer thing

  • Took about half an hour to get the cards I bought activated.

The poor ladies at the Maribyrnong HN store only had one activation machine…

  • Managed to get 12 cards total from HN Munno Para SA!

Poor girl spent probably half hour total activating cards, between myself and another guy who had a similar idea. There was only a handful left after we had been through.

      was your idea ebay?

      • No, my idea was I love texas country music and it's hard to find via 'alternative sources'

iTunes is my only hope! :)
