[Perks] PlayStation 5 Disc Console $669, Samsung Galaxy A54 $447 (Expired) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi

1050

Get an extra $30 off the current sale price of $699 on the PS5 Disc Console. Possibly combine with 15% bonus on Ultimate Gift cards from Coles to get it for $581. Update: multiple $100 gift cards do work according to comments

The A54 is at an all time low at $447, better than the OW price beat price. Using ultimate gift cards can possibly make it $389, a killer price for the specs.

Good deal with 15% bonus cards

  • So can you get a gift card for 669 from Coles ?
Or is it like 50,100 or 500 cards only

    • Only fixed amounts. Up to 5 cards.

      • Why can only apply 5 cards ?

        • Limit 5 per person per transaction, means you just have to go back in and see someone to put through

Yeah Ultimate gift cards but most are only $30/50 looked for $100 ones but no luck

  • Will OW price beat on A54 based on $447? JB Hi Fi is saying $477 on their page, the $30 off is conditional so I'm not too sure OW will put this into consideration

    • Not likely. It's made even worse by the code not being a sitewide one, but limited to Perks members. You would be better off doing something like using 3x $50 ultimate cards, which would give you the same savings as the price beat. Of course, if the store is OK, you can use more to save further.

The coupon is valid till the 16th so there is time to go in store and try this.

    • @kleevin it's over. JB and OW sites were programmed to remove the sale price as soon as Prime Day ended.

  • Hope I can buy the PS5 with the ultimate giftcards and the perks. Coles has been difficult to deal with already.

The A54 they sell in stores has inferior specs to the International version you can find online (kogan)
Do some research before buying from stores, specially mobiles. And yes, international versions work fine in Australia.

    • Can you elaborate on this?

  • Can someone please explain this gift card thing? I dont understand where/how to get them and how to use them etc, but would very much like a PS4 @ $580~

Hi, I just bought the PS5 for $580.

Bought 6 The Ultimate Home Giftcard from Coles in-store. $100 each, automatically added 15% during the checkout activation.

Went to JB Hi-Fi with the giftcards

Presented the JB Hi-Fi Perks email and gave them the cards.

      One card has $20 left.

Wow it really worked. Glad to hear. Enjoy the console.

Bought 8x Ultimate Home $100 from Coles (across two transcations). Immediately checked balance confirming $115.
Used JB perks $30 voucher and bought three games, price matched Amazon.
    Thank you for the deals!

    • No problem. Enjoy.

  • Hold up. If you buy 7x $100 Ultimate Cards at 15%, wouldn't that potentially come out to effectively $564?

Since it's retail for $699 combined with an effective $105 in card savings and $30 perks pushes it down.

Gift card deal gives 15% extra value on the card. So 6 x $100 cards would let you buy something up to $690, giving $90 savings from card

      • Whoops my math is terrible. Didn't know it was 15% extra on top. Can you buy all 6 cards at Coles instantly and get flybuys points?

        • You might have to buy them in separate transactions.

Also just a reminder the Sony Price matched $599 deal still works too.

Details here on how to price match: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/786562

DJs also selling console for $699 if you want to go this route and try the price matching to get the $599 deal.

Also saw it at Catch.com.au for $699. The perks + gift cards does work but I liked the simplicity and time saved for the $599 more useful for me.
