Just came across this deal for a NVIDIA RTX Quadro 8000 48GB card. Older 2018 model but still seems to still retail around 10k. Might be worth a look for anyone looking for a ML or Workstation card.

Nvidia price gouges the professional customers, anything that is workstation related will have a massive upcharge. It's been their strategy since, well, forever.
Note the RTX 3080 was also $1200 when it should've been $400-$500. Unfortunately zoomers are younger than a 6800gt and about the same age as bitcoin

Only make sense if you can't fit your model/data/task into 24GB, this card is slightly faster than 2080ti which is also based on TU102 chip.
Bought one.
Now I just need Skyrim to go on sale as I refuse to pay $30 for a decade old game.

at this price level, if you're paying out your own pockets, you'd almost definitely be better off renting a much faster gpu off something like runpod instead.
