    This is 4 x 5 pack so $1 / ink. Seems pretty cheap.

      You can use a syringe and get a bottled ink, which comes out cheaper in the end. Each cartridge normally has around 1ml, many bottled ink come in 50ml.

      I would personally recommend Waterman or Parker Quink (easy to get from Amazon, and easy to maintain) if you are just after something simple and easy to use.

  Lamy has been the most consistent fountain pens, nibs I used. Though pilot is also on point. Twisbi is great too.

  Hate Kaweco, every single pen I had had issues with the nib alignment or way too much feedback. And I love mechanical pencils, so i don’t think it’s me.
