These are brilliant devices.
Have a look at the Zoom H8 for $446.62. Looks like an interesting bit of gear, and the additional features may be worth it for an extra $60.
I prefer the modern functionality of the H8 but the port layout and size of the H6. Also consider other options like the Zoom F3 for the 32bit recording but only 2 inputs. And the H4n Pro for CHEAP (~$230). So many great options.

As the technology you mention is a gamechanger, I might hold off on any of the above models.
Its seems the closest thing to the H series form factor with 32 Float is the M series. I wonder if the H series will be upgraded to include this, or whether the M series will replace the H series?
These things are terrific. Been around a while, so must be standing up well to newer gizmos. Good price. I used to have a couple of these - sold one and I'm sure I got more than this for it.
