Every tablet will get compared to the Nexus 7….

Fire sale these puppies and pray CyanogenMod team get real Android running on them. They might be useful then!

    • Actually depending which version of Android your running, qnx is faster and more reliable imo. If your trying to make the playbook run android apps then its not going to be the best choice.

But each to their own. still my top choice for a tablet

      • Would be interested to know why this is your top voice Mikinoz.

It has a really nice solid feel to the device, the connections and buttons are in a logical place.

It doesnt crash or lock up, things just work, the interface is cleaner and snappy. Movies play very well and it never shudders or has any issues.

It is hard to compare apples to apples, the nexus is very nice and quite fast, but is very plain and felt cheap to me.

In saying that there is no android market yet and it is getting old now. You can load android apps though.

It just feels solid and well built.

IMO,this tablet is worth <$150 now.

    • Agreed, 99 would be prefect. really dont know why it hasnt hit that mark yet here

      • Perhaps because the tablet costs RIM more than $99 to make?

        • If the Ainol Aurora II could be sold for $120+, and it still turned a profit, then that means the production cost of the tablet would be much lower.

That's of course, assuming that they have similar scales of economies, production overheads and the same R&D costs, which is unlikely.

  • To be honest, I think the interface of the playbook is better than most tablets.

  • Should note Blackberry 10 OS is coming to this tablet
