I've ordered one of these before, the square one. It reminded me of one of my old children's storybooks. Pages are normal paper, a little flimsy, but colour is good, can't complain since only paid a few dollars for it. :) I can dig it up if anyone wants any pictures. I like it as a nice record of trips, if you can put all your favourite photos into 20 pages. Do note that there is advertising (an Artscow page, remove for $2, barcode at the back of the book) and also three blank pages at the back that can be 'unlocked' for 30c each page. They don't bother me since it's for myself, but keep that in mind if you're buying this as a gift.
This IS a referral deal, and you get $1 credit for every person who uses your code. (Supposedly up to $100.) More info here. But the last time Artscow did something a whole lot like this, it didn't exactly work as advertised, so we'll see how it goes.
Fine print stuff:
1. Coupon code is applicable for single use only.
2. Only one coupon code can be redeemed per household.
