    Main thing I check is that it's 2.1 so it can run 4k.

    If I'm using the cable for gaming from a PS5/PC to a TV/Monitor I'm looking for HDMI 2.1 as that cable can handle the 4k resolution and higher refresh rates. There are some more niche discussions about the materials quality but I cant comment on that.

  These are 18 Gbps cables. You won't be able to do 4K@120hz. (Just in case it wasn't clear)
