great find. interesting that the amzn listing title describes it as 'rgb' .. hmm
model # isn't the rgb one, though, much like the pictures and description also suggest.
for those who plan on manually OCing i reckon this team t-create might still be the better deal

    • this team t-create

5600 CL46? You might get lucky with that but this kit is only $15 more and guarantees you good timings.

      • A dies are very consistent in their great performance potential but you're right this is definitely safer

        • +1

Correct aproach. If you want safe and easy get this. If you want to future proof for higher frequencies in the future get the A-die.
The A-die wil most probably easilly match this but you will have to set it manually while this comes with a preset profile.

Personally I would go A-die. Less money, better future perf. I am OK with setting stuff manually and doing some troubleshooting to get there.
Also, the T-create would probably have worse resale value as most people on FB marketplace will have no clue what A-die is and would just stare at the out of the box params. Like that dude :-)

  • Damn not on my motherboard supported list

    • +4

That is not how ir works. It does not to be in the list to be compatible.

      • rather have something off the supported list than buy this and find it doesn't play well. Can't find any info on this kit on a b650 platform

  • Voltage locked at 1.435v Max btw, so tweaking room on Intel is not that great. AMD's fine though

  • Would Intel RAM be compatible with the AMD system?

    • +1

      Google'd it for you. Yes.

  • My computer is Intel 13th gen, any pros/cons with this ram?

  • Can this do Expo? It seems to be advertised for XMP.

    • +1

It looks like no just based on Corsair website:

      Memory Compatibility
Intel 700 Series (13th Gen Intel Core CPUs)

There's a separate product entry with "AMD EXPO" in the name that has

      Memory Compatibility
      AMD 600 Series

      • Oh damn, that's a risky purchase then.

        • Hmm actually the SKUs look to be the same… bit confusing. I don't know enough about RAM to understand if there's a physical difference.
          Weirdly I don't even see 6000/CL30 on Corsair's site.

          • @808State: Yeah, couldn't find 6000/cl30 on their site too. No physical differences afaik.

Should I find 2x 32GB sticks or stick with this one (meaning 4x 16GB sticks)? No pun intended.

    • +2

I think for AMD if you populate all 4 slots, you incur a penalty? Not entirely certain. Someone please correct me.

      • +1

4 slots in most cases should be faster than just 2 slots at the exact timings and same settings. But 4 slot setup is tougher to OC in my experience. I would always need to tune down a few settings to make them stable.

        • Either way, 64GB on AMD will struggle running all that well at the same timings as 32GB. I would go 2x32 if you must have 64GB.
Might keep 48GB kits on your mind as well.

      • appears to be a speed penalty for more sticks

see your CPU's spec sheet for

        Max Memory Speed

        Config Memory Speed
        2x1R DDR5-5200
        2x2R DDR5-5200
        4x1R DDR5-3600
        4x2R DDR5-3600

im no expert just a bit confused why max speed is 5200Mhz but 6000Mhz is recommended for AM5

reddit post goes over the 4 slot issue in a lot more detail there is lot of confusion i've seen two stick recommended in my research quite often

Great deal. Cheers. My AM5 build is one step closer

  • how about this one for my AM5 build? 6000Mhz as well… i'm not too sure about the rest of the specs, i'm still new to PC building

    • Your link is cl36 versus cl30 of this post. The lower the cas latency timing, the better, generally speaking.

  • Back orders finished, back in stock

Nice ty, looking to make a 7700 build. Now I just need the CPU and mobo 😂

  • AMD owners make sure to upgrade your board to the latest BIOS with AGESA 1.0.0.7 as 6400 1:1 and speeds up to 8000 are now possible and stable depending on CPU/RAM silicon lottery

  • Did anyone's order get shipped yet? I ordered when it was in stock on Wednesday.
