Do you research before buying a Samsung monitor, apparently has a few QC issues.

  • VA, pannel,… But anything high refresh is, so not bad for 32inch curved.

  • It's $660 on the Samsung Edu store and has been for a little while now (listed in another deal iirc?)

Save yourself the pain. Samsung messed up the interface on their new monitors. If you are after a gaming monitor first go for LG. If you want to have to switch modes everytime you boot the monitor, go for samsung.

I had the g6 and had all sorts of issues. The worst was it did not detect displayport 3 out of 5 times. I might have had the bad of the batch but it was expensive.

I got a cheaper lg and that screen rocks

    • What did you get?

      • Lg 850b. It was on sale

    • Can you elaborate on the mode thing?

had a 34" G8 Odyssey OLED, was a terrible display (smart tv features on a monitor? yuck) had problems with it waking up, powering on, keeping sync, etc.

Same man. Samsung messed up big time on their monitors

  • i think this is only 144 hz unless they have the wrong info on the site

    edit
    yes, wrong info on site…

  • Is it good for Fortnite? My GPU is RTX 3070 which can go up to 240Hz at QHD.
