What is TuneIn Premium?

With TuneIn Premium, listeners will get everything featured in the TuneIn standard free service, plus:

  • 100K+ Unlimited ad-free audiobooks available for listening
  • Every MLB, NHL, and English Premier League game, the biggest motorsports races, the biggest college football and basketball games (including the NCAA Tournament),
  • 100+ commercial-free music stations, commercial-free news from top networks.

Deal Instructions:

  1. Go to TuneIn Radio
  2. Create or sign in to a TuneIn account
  3. Click 'Start Free Trial' when prompted by 'Your Rivian comes with 12 months of TuneIn Premium'
  4. Enter your payment information
  5. You may opt to use a temporary credit card in order to avoid being billed after 12 months
  6. Proceed to checkout

      Yes Tunein works with Alexa. It can be linked in the Alexa app.

        Don't know if I'm missing something but I can't find the Alexa skill. There's the built in functionality, but no premium. I can see the skill in the US skill store but nothing in Australia.

        This reply should be stickied. I tried 3 accounts with google pay, and 2 credit cards thinking something was wrong, then saw this reply and just realised all those accounts and payments were active. I just logged into settings and cancelled 3 of them not knowing all my attempts had worked, dumb I know.

        So make sure you login to your tune in, settings, subscriptions and cancel.

      Strange my revolut disposable card was declined. It said merchant not supported. I had to use my main card.

        Yea none of my virtual cards worked. Got an email from one service saying:
        “$0.00 charge at TUNEIN INC declined on your Tunein card because we do not currently support transactions with this merchant on the Privacy platform due to the high volume of attempted abuse and excessive declines. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

    How to cancel subscription from the app? I can see free trial for 1 year, but when I try to log into my account via desktop I get the pairing issue.

        yeah the one time use card has been blocked when it is for a recurring subscription.
        It can be used for charges that are once off.

        however for the regular card in revolut, you can set a monthly spend limit of $1.

            @G-rig: yeah it generates a new one time use with new numbers, but cannot be used for a recurring sub. It used to be able to, but they changed it.

            It's definitely not as useful now. It can be used for once off charges. Most of the time when I want to use it it's for recurring charges.

              @bohn: Yeah I've tried for new different one time charges, but just says merchant doesn't support it. Didn't need it anyway I guess so wouldn't mind cancelling it to simply things.

              I've never had an issue cancelling any subscriptions or trials.

    Shady company. Bought TuneIn Radio Pro lifetime licence when it was first released.

    They discontinued it and rebranded the exact same product to kill those lifetime licences.

    Works great! It may say you need a new pairing code/QR after entering your card details… but just go to your account settings and the subcription will have started for a year. Make sure to cancel it on the spot. It will expire in a year.

    I used to use Tunein Radio on android years ago, and you could pause radio and resume.
    Then they made it premium only, and I don't think there is another free player that can pause live radio. Anyone know of one.. (for when this deal expires) ?

      You can do it on the Pro version (the one time payment version of the app). Not sure about the free one. You don't need premium subscription.

    Just got a call from my bank 5 mins after joining, seems TuneIn test your credit card and it tripped their security… :-)

      I used a prepaid coles mastercard that had $0.13 on it
      Also there are revolut cards that can be used. No point using a 'real' card for deals like this IMO.

    @Scrooge McDeal Thanks for the detailed instructions, it worked perfectly. I got the "Pairing failed, please try again" message and ignoring it was the solution as stated.
    Then I went to TuneIn radio website/Settings/Subscriptions, and was able to cancel the subscription, a message pops up stating; "Payment Details: Your subscription will
    end on 7/22/2024. You can renew your subscription for $12.45!"     This is a fantastic deal and I look forward to trialing it.
