mynetfone - new yearly plan saves you even more!

31

just for a newsletter from mynetfone - they're introducing a new yearly plan called MegaSaver Yearly - seems like an awesome deal: includes 100 free local/national calls every month for a year and you save $20 with the yearly plan as compared to having a similar monthly plan. I'm sooo upgrading to this!

Plus they have packs with the plan and a VoIP device for those who aren't on VoIP already so its super-easy to get started. and other New Year Sale offers… i think i might get a new phone handset - they've got a great deal where you 'bundle and save' when you take up any other the New Year Sale offers

  • Not to rain on anyones parade, but MNF have Whirlpool plans which offer 15c/min to mobiles. And, Pennytel at 10.5c/min.

Good one for those that are not Voip savy as MNF offer a pretty easy setup and generally good call quality

    • I moved from Whirpool saver to Pennytel's plan. I found Pennytele cheaper. If you do around 60 Local + international calls a month, the MNF neoSaver is also an option.

As for the MSY yearly plan, it is not very good. The bundle is $129.95 which includes the MSY plan and a SPA 2100. From the same site, you can get the MSY plan for $99 and a SPA2100 for $19.95.

      • It is not exactly correct…You can get the MSY only for $99 if you're already a MNF customer and want to upgrade to this plan. And with the packs you also get $10 Call credit included. I think it's pretty good actually and I think I'm gonna go for it!

  • Are all ATA locked or not?

    • Most ATAs are locked to MNF. Check the fine print, if it says configured to operate only on the MNF network, then it is locked and cannot be unlocked even after the contract has expired, not even for a fee.

There are one or two exemptions, but not usually on the subsidised hardware inclusive plans.

      • Unlocking the devices is no big deal.

  • I have been with Pennytel for more than a year, it's cheaper and has more features (like Callback)
