  • These are not great. Break easily due to vacuum. Buy the ones without the soft bag in them.

    • Yeah I got one and first time using it 80% of the sprays came out as a stream rather than a spray. Not sure if user error.

      • Lol I remember I wrote something similar a while back about how mine doesn't spray but streams and I got REAMED out by people saying 'you mustnt be using it right' 'are u sure u know how to use it' and reading the comments below I feel so validated now

        • Ah good to know it's not just me! Will try the aliexpress one mentioned below. Although, small drizzle then wiping the pan with paper towel is working pretty good for the moment and at ~1c a sheet it'd take a while to make the sprayer worthwhile.

          • @Cheaplikethebird: I guess from all the comments recently, I must have been one of the first to get the shit batches 1-2 years ago because people assumed I was an idiot for not being able to use it.

It does mist if I do a good hard fast press, but I don't want to use that much oil, otherwise I would just drip it on?? I just wanna mist my 2 chicken wings dammit 😂 but what I've found to be great oil pourers are those triangular screw top tomato/mustard bottles.

      • Yeah, that happens sometimes when I use it, it comes out as a stream. I do know that when you press super hard, a mist results rather than a stream.

You can also press super hard/quick but not all the way to spray a little.

    • And they dribble a lot.

What're you on about? Decor has changed the design and sell the one without bag in them for ages and it was the worst move ever. The new one doesn't spray fine mist as the older one and it dribble more than your pet dog on heat. And worse it only spray after a few pumping action with piss poor single stream in between.
the older design is far superior in performance, only issue is to manual blow the bag up before each fill to get enough volume of oil.

      • That's been my experience too

        • One of the previous OzBargain posts had a gem of a comment. It's much easy to use the valve on the bottom, suck it to cause a vacuum & it expands perfectly. Super easy.

      • I simply shared my experience. Read some other posts in this thread itself

  • Got the one from Aliexpress for $3 and works fine

I bought one of these about 2 years ago and it sprayed good it had a much bigger tube and another part in there but the new ones have a single thin tube and don't spray they just squirt a stream of liquid.

    • These things suck. They leak somehow?!? It’s not a “Spray” it’s like a thin line and to cover things you have to spray like a million times, which defeat the purpose. Hate ‘em.

Since I put 5W40 in, the salad tastes strange.

    • Synthetic is no good for salad

  • Dripping from day one.

  • I have one without the soft bag. I chucked it after a few months. It was losing suction and was leaking slightly. I'm going to use a sauce squirt bottle from now.

I don't know about others' experience but I find it inconvenient to use. The plastic bag shrinks slowly as you spray and when you want to refill the bottle, you need some extra force to expand the bag

We had one for a few months, mostly it just squired a stream of liquid rather than a spray and now it's stopped working altogether … will not be buying another one, it's really just a waste of plastic.

    • Same.

  • When it works it works. But same as other comments. Both sprayers, different oils are either leaking or shooting a single stream of oil, not a mist.

  • The comments saving me from a bad purchase it seems.

  • Adding to the list of negs here. They not only release out a stream (not mist) but also leak. Not worth even at half price

  • Better off paying a bit more and getting an oil sprayer in a glass bottle from House.

This plastic one is junk in comparison!

  • Got 2 and not very impressed with it. Less spray and more of a stream output.

  • Flairosol was the original makers of these and they are still around today.

I've had mine for about 15 years and use them for car detailing spray that I buy in bulk, all of mine still work great.

Unfortunately being a popular product there is now dozens of knock offs of poor quality.
