I was very apprehensive buying a 6a after reading all the shit people talk about the hot battery and call drop outs. Took a punt regardless and it’s easily the best android phone I’ve owned. There’s something premium about the Pixel that Samsung or any another brand can’t match. Long story short, if you’re on the fence, get off it, they’re brilliant phones. Oh, and am I facing the problems people have reported? Nope.

Anyone work at JB and can clarify the policies? Looking at purchasing multiple handsets. Managed to buy a couple from a store buying 1 at a time and using the gift card for subsequent purchases. However one of the stores with most stock said they cant sell to businesses / people who are looking to resale (even if thats with custom software/apps and not just the handset from factory)

The $200 gift card surely isn't connected to the pixel, it'll just be a usual gift card with $200 value and so returning the pixel in a few weeks should be ok for a full, refund as long as sealed etc

damn, I bought my second one yesterday and they wouldn't give the extra $50 voucher! Still managed to buy one for my mrs and one for myself getting 2x$200 giftcards and 1x$50 voucher. Not a bad deal as they hold their value pretty well. Don't expect it to go down drastically when the pixel 8 comes out.

Don't they check the IMEI number when you return? If purchased in store, the receipt shows IMEI number and if online it doesn't show but they have it recorded in their system.
Not sure. The phone I ordered from JB is still in the mail, I'll be returning it unopened as soon as it's delivered.

@CodeXD: Never got the $50 and haven't used the $200 so yeah that will go back. I'm $100 ahead by buying from Telstra and I'm no longer obligated to spend a further $200 at JB.
Oh ok, sorry, I interpreted your comment as returning the Telstra piece to JB once it is delivered. I assumed you had already opened the JB piece and started using it.
