Even if you do roll over, it's essentially $3 free

    • As part of everyday extra You get 10% off a shop once a month. So it's a no brainer anyway.

In store only now I think. They screwed it up. Who has time to go to the shops?

    Targetted.
I got 6000 on one account and 4000 on another

Knowing Woolworths as I do, I presume this Extra everyday is the additional costs of groceries imposed on those that take advantage of this offer.

  • Anyone knows how the $10 works? As I understand it, by default you get $10 off your next shop every 2000 points. So each next shop you get to deduct max $10 from the total bill.

Say if I earn 4000 points at one go, do I get to have 2 separate instances I can deduct $10 or is it that I have to spend the $10 in order to build another instance I can deduct $10. Im worried it is the latter as that would mean all the points I gathered after 2000 would not count to anything.

    Edit: grammar

The points continue to accumulate after you have received a voucher, and you can accumulate multiple vouchers at once that will stack.

When you go to shop next when you scan your card the register will ask if you want to use your current balance to pay for the groceries or not. What you redeem is the pooled value and you aren’t limited to redeeming $10 at a time. You can choose to not redeem the credit, but will still earn points.

Accumulated more than $10 multiple times when doing larger gift card purchases at times they’ve had 20x earn rate promotions.

    • You have to spend no less than $10 in order to deduct $10. It is up to you how to spend the rewards dollars, you can spend them all at once or spend 10 dollars each time,

  • This is a targetted offer. I got 3k points on one of my accounts and nothing on the others. If you did get this offer then it's worth it as it'll pay for itself with a little profit and you'll get 10% off one shop too. For me it's a profit of $28 for signing up (10% off a $100 shop for the two months + 3k points worth $15 - $7 fee for the 2nd month)

  • 4000pt offer received 3 weeks ago

    Free month subscription now ending.
10% off larger Woolies shop + free Ajax spray & wipe gift made it worthwhile.
(Received 5400pt for $100 shop before signing up - also used with 10% off shop.)

Need to pay $7 subscription for August to qualify for 4000pt ($20) offer. Then cancel.

    Last week received 3 x 3000pt offers
Will sign up for 4 x 10% off shops in August & 3 in September💰

Pity good bonus offers (5400pt for $100, 2000pt for $40) seem to have now dried up😢

  • geez….people still shopping at woolies?? you guys must be masochists……

    • where pray tell do you show?

PS: the commenters here are mostly the pro pros. You wouldn't know that because you aren't one.

      • yeah the 'propros' shop at woolies and chase points instead of good value food & grocery items. lmfao

        • The staples are similar across providers; I check for best input ingredients.

Some, only Coles has; others my specialist greengrocer, etc.

For staples I direct my purchases to the cheapest provider for similar best inputs.

But that's why we comment, to learn from others, if you have anything else to offer.

          • @ihbh: shopping at coles & woolies? in 2023?
and chasing points just to pay 50% more at the register for mediocre fresh produce & big brand overpriced fmcgs….winning!
            lol!

            • @franco cozzo: hmm… I eat predominately whole food plant based. I know fresh produce. E.g. broccoli is the same at Woolworths, Coles, Harris Farm (at least in the suburbs I shop). There were weeks recently where they were $2.50/kg at HF, but there were weeks where they were $3 or $3.50 at the majors. That with 25+% incentive plus 10% GC beats HF, which might also have been $5 that week.

              1.8kg Aus oats $3.10 @ Coles, before 25% incentive and 10% GC.

We eat little processed food, so might not be sure about other "big brand" items you might be referring to.

  • I have had a couple of pop ups in the app offering the 2000 points, but can't find the offer anywhere else. It's not in my regular offers and if I open Everyday Extra there's nothing there. Where are people finding this deal?

    • same 2days ago, today opened app it showed again so I captured screen.

    • Received email offers of 3000 & 4000 pts.

  • 4000pt Deal has closed for comments. But is relevant here
