I still dont understand what this sale was about or why at that time? very strange because you never see even closing down sales go this low, Interested to hear what the reason was. Sad i missed out but there must be some really happy OZbers out there . Great deal for sure. I told a couple of AV friends and they were shocked as well and they couldnt understand what happened either, so weird in terms of timing and discount.
Sadly, my Samsung soundbar i ordered from the EDU site a week or so ago, had sent me a delayed notice and it wont be delivered on original date but new delivery date with tracking no. etc and then 2 days after that, i get told its cancelled :( and now i missed out on this soundbar deal too.
We will never see as good a deal on Bose soundbars as this.
More like a price error that was honoured and not an intentional sale.
Pretty sure its a price error. But since Amazon delivery is pretty quick so some people got lucky.

Melbournr- 600,900 shipped. They cancelled my 700 and bose amp. Should've gotten two 600s
Started chat and they put me on a call. The support person said they were shipping out items but were limited in stock. I ordered all my items at around 12.10AM. Amazon appears to do orders differently other than time of order. The woes of living far away from their depots. No compensation provided.

Amazon must not like Melbourne. We have to use codeexpress which is the worst courier Ive seen plus later shipments of items which they probably delay due to logistics.

Just received cancellation email from Amazon :((( soundlink 900, the tracking details disappeared for my 600 as well.

Funny though it’s now back in stock with Amazon as the seller for $679!
This is the one time I felt like I wish I lived in NSW rather than VIC, where the Bose soundbars dispatch too quick for Amazon to stop. I think they must have got the discount back to front for the sale e.g. 92% off probably meant to have been 8% off. Congrats to those who got one.

How did you make amazon do that. They opened the case for the team to contact me after 24 hours. No compensation no resolution. They said, it was price error and thats why order cancelled

Not necessarily. Depends on where the items come from. Amazon has several warehouses and some items might even come from the manufacturer directly. My Bose 900 came from Newington (Bose warehouse)

You can go to ACCC but they wont listen really practically to any individuals really man. If they did either Australia would have been a perfect place by now or trash if listen to false claims, or they simply get so much burdened by uptaking extra extra work. They only take class actions behind a lot of individuals.
Also do you really think ACCC should be spending their time on such price errors ? where you as the customer have literally lost $0 financially ? compared to other matters where actual legit consumers loose thousands or hundreds of dollars?
