Hey Oz Bargain Community,

Two pieces of exciting news (well I'm excited):
1) The launch of today's deal is to celebrate bringing back a featured rotating Single Origin we found many people to be quite fond of, it's our Guatemala Ayarza. It's been over a year since we've had any available, so I'm wrapped that we've been able to secure some more supply (albeit a relatively small supply) of this terrific coffee. As a brief reintroduction to this SO…it's beautifully sweet, with a soothing gentle kick to it, chocolate on show, then praline pecan with a slightly fruity finish

2) I'm happy to announce we've just opened up our August and September delayed dispatch schedule for you. As we had multiple requests during our most recent Brazil deal to open up August dispatch we've decided to include Brazil in this deal too, so everyone's got the opportunity to plan ahead while making the most of this deal pricing

We're offering you a 40% discount off our much loved Brazil São Paulo Single Origin and newly launched Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin:

1) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g (usually $24.99 per 500g), and $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

2) NOW SOLD OUT Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin, only $15.59 per 500g (usually $25.99 per 500g), and $27.59 per 1kg (usually $45.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 13/08/2023, unless sold out before. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the last Thursday in September. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the designated space on the cart page."
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.

Following the success of our recent trials of new shipping rates, we've decided to extend these for this deal too :)
FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69. We recommend freezing any excess bags purchased to quality for free shipping, without compromising on enjoying fresh coffee.

Hey @Faithgrrl we sure are, since our initial trial with the complementary Tim Tams we've kept it up!

Our costs on them have increased in a relatively short period of time by ~25%, but we'll keep working hard to continue our Tim Tam initiative as long as we viably can. Whenever you go on our site, if the following page is there, then it's safe to assume you'll get a Tim Tam included in your order https://limebluecoffee.com/pages/tim-tam-initiative%E2%84%A2 :)

p.s. the strange looking ending to the URL "%E2%84%A2" translates into the Trademark logo

      • Phew! Someone above asked what the big deal is about LBC and I said it was the tim tams…Thank goodness that still going.

After seeing so many good reviews and helpful responses from Tom, I've decided to jump on the wagon and ordered 1kg of the famous Brazil SO, can't wait to try it!.

I'm a coffee newbie, bought the machine less than 2 months ago, my first beans where the Dark roasted from ALDI (meh), I've just opened my second bag a few days ago, it's an Airjo enterprise blend (very yummy). And the next one will be this Brazil SO!

I love the delayed dispatch option, great idea! 👍

    • ALDI's Brazil not bad for its price.

      • But Brazil SO from LimeBlue is way better - have tried both espresso and Hario switch!

    • How wonderful to hear @Bredo I'm so glad the thoughtful comments (and my reply, which I always want to be quicker that I can type them) have caught your attention. Thank you so much for giving us a shot, it's an opportunity we truly appreciate and won't take for granted!

Fantastic to hear our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system is a winner for you too :)

  • completely subjective review.

I usually buy a lot of different beans to experiment.
This time I bought your beans (500 grams). The only thing that kept me away until now was the shipping price.

Subjectively, I absolutely loved it. I am a customer for Life for now. I would love if you made the discounted price as the standard price and customer can avoid the shenanigans of waiting for discounted deals.

    • Agree, pretty happy with the roast, the service, freshness and communication.

Just set an alert , and keep an eye on when they go on sale and grab some then - seems to be fairly often (I got an email already since the delivery last week)

      40% off Colombia|Ethiopia|Decaf SO, 500g from $14.99, 1kg from $26.39 :)

    • Hey @bargainhuntr thank you so much for taking the plunge to place your first order with us, it truly does mean so much!

I really do appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback. With regard to the shipping price we've got that as low as is economically viable. If it's any consolation in general we subsidise our rates, so it's costing us more than we're charging you for shipping. We go by a we win, customers win policy, so the more order we get, the better we can negotiate shipping rates, the lower we can make our flat rate shipping, earlier this year we dropped our rates based on new contract negotiations.

It is truly wonderful to know you are now a "customer for life," we won't take you patronage for granted!

In terms of the deal's being an ongoing price, for the most part it's just not economically viable. We can only offer those prices by achieving economies of scale. If we just purchased a 70kg bag of green coffee at a time we couldn't offer the deal pricing without making a financial loss, as it would mean all direct and indirect costs would increase substantially. Another reason we need to plan for deal is managing our working capital. If everything was always at deal pricing we'd need to substantially increase our ongoing stock on hand and it would be much harder to predict when/how busy we would be at any given time. Now with all that said we have just launched our first ever long running deal (ongoing), structured in the only was we viable can have it at present. Based on your 500g order and different bean experiments I'm not sure if the deal will be a personal winner for you, but it may be an indirect winner for you if it suits where you work https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/799190
