    I know what I'm recommending below is not in the same price bracket,

    Fanatec recently is doing great priced ready to race package for around $650-700 for "entry level" direct drive wheelbase, some choices of wheels and pedals.. infinitely better if one can increase the budget and prob save more if eventually would upgrade… https://fanatec.com/au-en/ready-to-race/

    Just offering some info for those starting to jump on Sim racing due to the Gran Turismo movie hype

      These do not work with ps5/4 though on the lower end. The only ones that do are $1000+ I believe.

        You are correct.

        and if you factor in the load cell and brick upgrade that's another $500 on top.

          Yep, and to use load cell pedals I think one really need a solid rig.. so that's a very dedicated route down the rabbit hole…
