[SA, NSW] Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro Wireless Mechanical Keyboard (Green) $199 (RRP $394, in-Store Only) @ CentreCom

80

Hi Ozbargainers

Just saw the Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard(yellow and green switch) is going on sale at the moment in centre com for $199. This retails to JB for around $394 so $199 is stellar deal.

Green switch is on sale for $199 and Yellow switch is for $229. Not sure if Green Switch deal is a mistake from centre com but JB does the price match on this excellent mechanical keyboard and I have delivered it to my home for extra 9$.(Delivered to Melbourne West in Victoria)

Just surprised JB is price matching this one so want my fellow Oz bargainers to get benefit of this deal

Thank me later!!

Damn already pulled the trigger on the G915 for $199, but this is a solid keyboard otherwise

You are better off. I get constant double key presses on more than a dozen keys on my current V3 Pro. I've had it replaced twice so far - will look at the G915 next.

      • but the key caps on g915 wear out so quick and expensive to replace due to low profile switch.

        • Indeed this is unfortunately the draw back of the G915

      • Oh the double presses happens for my V3 Pro too. Only for the V key, which means double pasting sometimes.

Logitech is better. I have had this Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro for 2.5 years, not happy,. It yellow switches, and got double, and triple presses. The volume control knob was acting weird, fixed by wd40 spray.

    • Man that is a solid keyboard.

    • The g915 is superior

    • where'd you get it for 199? seems like a good damn deal. with keypads?

  • Only SA and NSW, not available online and OOS in all other states.

    $189 from Amazon delivered?

that's only for the yellow switch one but I assume most gamers prefer green switch.

Green switch is so annoyingly loud. Yellow switch all the way!

  • any good recommendation on a matching mouse to this?

    • Probably any Razer mouse?

    • Assuming you want Razer, decide based on features and shape.

If you want wireless, the Pro stuff is pretty good (X Hyperspeed has given some people trouble, I've been fine). I would recommend optical switches since it should really help wear and tear.

      Extra buttons? Naga
Ambidextrous shape? Cobra is smaller than Viper
Right-handed? Basilisk is smaller than Deathadder

  • This retails to JB for around $394 so $199 is stellar deal.

Sounds more like a stellar rip off to me :)

  • I'm after the Deathstalker v2 Linear Optical Switch

I tried a few out at it seems to have least 'Ping' sound.

The name sounds like something you'd hear in a courtroom trial

    • So you have the machine that goes PING?

      • I don't want the machine that goes PING

  • Can I get a better keyboard for cheaper than this?

  • Genuine question, why would people who want a gaming keyboard spend 200-250 on this or similar when there's the wooting keyboard that is proven to be the best for gaming? or even just a hot swappable keyboard that can be easily repaired/modified in the future.
