Over eight dozen DJs selected as this year's Your Shot contestants (including me!) will be playing on 4 separate stages throughout The Prince Consort, La La Land & 400 Rabbits, battling it out to be crowned the winner of YourShot 2023 from midday til late.

• Headliners are yet to be announced but have previously included some big names in the industry.

  What kind of DJ event is this going to be? 100 DJs plugging in a USB with 25 mins of premixed music or 100 DJs letting some expensive software beatmatch some tunes they like?

    I believe they’ll be using a DDJ-RX3 and plug in their USB with their songs to mix live

    We all bring our Rekordbox-analysed tracks on a USB & mix them live to make up the 25 min set. Beatmatching is not allowed & we've been told anyone who touches the beat sync button will be considered to be cheating.
    The set I'm practising at the moment contains 22 tracks, so I'll definitely be very busy on the controller mixing them all live!
    Some of the other contestants are already producers so I imagine they'll be sharing some cool premixed tracks too but were judged on our live mixing so that'll just be some extra flair & definitely not a way for them to chill out & do nothing on the decks.
